Abstract
A snow shovel with a tilting element includes an elongated support having upper and lower ends opposite the upper end and a blade having front and opposite rear portions. The blade is mounted at the lower end of the elongated support and is designed to be movable with a rotary motion between a first shoveling position and a second snow dumping position in which it is at least partially spaced from the elongated support. The blade pivots with respect to the elongated support at a substantial front-end portion thereof. The elongated support includes at least one pair of sliding elements shaped for crawling in use on the ground where the snow shovel rests. The snow shovel includes a rotating unit to rotate the blade operated by a connecting rod, the rotating unit being arranged to allow the blade to rotate between the first and second snow positions.
Claims
1. Snow shovel (10) with tilting element, said snow shovel comprising an elongated support or frame (11) having an upper end (13) and a lower end (12) opposite the upper end (13) and a blade (14) having a front portion (15) and an opposite rear portion (16); said blade (14) is mounted at the lower end (12) of said elongated support and is designed so as to be able to move with a rotary motion between a first shoveling position and a second snow dumping position in which it is at least partially spaced from said elongated support or frame (11); wherein: said blade (14) is rotatably pivoted with respect to said elongated support or frame (11) at a substantial front-end portion thereof; said elongated support or frame (11) comprises at least one pair of sliding elements designed for crawling in use on the ground where said snow shovel (10) rests; the snow shovel (10) comprises rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20) to rotate said blade (14) operated by a connecting rod, said rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20) being arranged so as to allow said blade (14) to rotate between said first shoveling position and said second snow dumping position; said rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20) comprise at least one first connecting rod (28) hinged at an intermediate portion thereof so as to be able to rotate with respect to said elongated support or frame (11) and having a first end mechanically joined to said rear portion (16) of said blade (14), at an upper portion thereof, by at least one second connecting rod, the rotation of said first connecting rod causing said blade (14) to rotate between said first shoveling position and said second snow dumping position.
2. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, wherein in said first shoveling position the second connecting rod is arranged at least partially above said blade (14) and, with respect to the first connecting rod, so as to form an angle α less than 135° between the first and the second connecting rod.

Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, wherein in said second dumping position the second connecting rod (17) is arranged at least partially above said blade (14) and, with respect to the first connecting rod (18), so as to form an angle α greater than 60° between the first and the second connecting rod.
4. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, wherein said rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20) are operated by a pedal control (30).
5. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 3, wherein said at least one first connecting rod (18) comprises a second end mechanically joined to said pedal control (30).
6. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 5, wherein said at least one first connecting rod (18) is mechanically joined to said pedal control (30) by at least one third connecting rod (19), said first (18), second (17) and third (19) connecting rods being arranged so as to form a four-bar linkage.
7. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, wherein said at least one connecting rod (18) is hinged to an element projecting from said elongated support or frame (11).

Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, comprising a rear portion (21) supporting said pedal control (30), having a pair of side elements (22) and a crossbeam (23) constrained to respective rear ends of said side elements (22) and acting as an abutting element raised above the ground, and in which the two side elements form a convex angle with respect to the portion of elongated element or frame (11) substantially contacting said ground.
9. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, said frame (11) comprises a pair of respectively left and right posts (11m) joined together at said upper end (13) thereof by a first crossbeam (11t).
10. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 4, wherein said connecting-rod rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20) comprise an intermediate and rotary engaging point rotatably constrained on said posts (11m).
11. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, further comprising a release control (40) of said rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20).
12. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 7, wherein said first crossbeam (11t) forms a handle of said snow shovel.
13. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 2, wherein said pedal control (30) is rotatably constrained to said rear portion of said elongated element at a rear end thereof.
14. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 1, wherein at least one portion thereof can be closed and/or folded and/or disassembled in order to reduce the bulk of the snow shovel (10) when not used.
15. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 2, wherein said rotating means (17, 18, 19, 20) are operated by a pedal control (30).
16. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 2, wherein said at least one connecting rod (18) is hinged to an element projecting from said elongated support or frame (11).
17. Snow shovel (10) according to claim 3, wherein said at least one connecting rod (18) is hinged to an element projecting from said elongated support or frame (11).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0033] Referring to the attached figures, a snow shovel as a whole is denoted with the numeral reference 10.
[0034] The snow shovel 10 comprises a frame 11 made with a shape of elongated support comprising a first lower end 12 and a second upper end 13.
