[0011] Reference is now made in detail to the description of the embodiments as illustrated in the drawings. While embodiments are described in connection with the drawings and related descriptions, there is no intent to limit the scope to the embodiments disclosed herein. On the contrary, the intent is to cover all alternatives, modifications and equivalents. In alternate embodiments, additional devices, or combinations of illustrated devices, may be added to, or combined, without limiting the scope to the embodiments disclosed herein.

[0012] Generally speaking, this application relates to a pre-rolled, backflip style smoking product jacket device for use with a smokable item. As disclosed, this device may include a roll for containing a smokable product and a loose flap of excess paper. The jacket device may include a tip, a hollow portion, and a burn flap. The device tip may be configured from cardboard, wood, or glass. The device may be designed to give a user the first-hand experience with a backflip-style rolling or smoking jacket.

[0013] To use, a consumer may simply insert a smokable product into the smoking product jacket device. After the device has been loaded, the user may ignite the bottom corner of the burn flap. This type of configuration may allow for the jacket device to burn more evenly and result in less product waste. In addition, the device may provide a more enjoyable experience by creating a more visible flame during use.

[0014] The device may be distributed or sold in a pack containing one or more smoking product jacket(s). Each jacket device may be configured in a variety of sizes including, but not limited to, 3 inches, 4 inches, or 8 inches in length. Additional embodiments may include alternative compositions that create special effects upon ignition.

[0015] In another embodiment of the present invention, a cigarette jacket including a hollow cylindrical tube, a rectangular extending side flap running the length of the tube, and an inserted tip at one end of the cylindrical tube is disclosed. The cigarette jacket may include a tip configured from, paper, cardboard, wood, or glass. The cylindrical tube may have a circular cross section. Further, the cylindrical tube may be configured as a cone. Further still, the cylindrical tube may have a length between three to four inches and a diameter of approximately 15 millimeters. Finally, the cylindrical tube may be configured from hemp or paper.

[0016] Referring to FIG. 1, a front view of a smoking product jacket 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention, is disclosed. The smoking product jacket 100 may include a combustible, hollow cylindrical tube 110 having a distal end 111, a proximal end 112, and a diameter 113 (illustrated in FIG. 2). The diameter 113 may be approximately 15 millimeters (mm), thereby configured to be approximately equal to a cigarette. The cylindrical tube 110 may also include a length 116. The length 116 of the cylindrical tube 110 may be approximately three (3) to four (4) inches. The smoking product jacket 100 may also include a side flap 120, wherein the side flap 120 is attached to an outside surface 114 of the cylindrical tube 110. Further, the side flap 120 may be configured to extend away from the cylindrical tube 110. In addition, the smoking product jacket 100 may also include a tip 130 attached to the proximal end 112 of the cylindrical tube 110. The cylindrical tube 110 may be configured from hemp or paper. Further, the cylindrical tube 110 may be substantially circular or cone-shaped in configuration. Finally, the cylindrical tube 110 may be rolled from a flat sheet 115, wherein the side flap 120 may be a continuation of the rolled flat sheet 115.

[0017] The side flap 120 of the jacket 100 may include a substantially rectangular configuration. The side flap 120 may also be configured to extend outward away from the tube in an approximately perpendicular manner. The side flap 120 may be configured with length approximately equal to that of the hollow cylindrical tube 110. Further, the side flap 120 may include a width 121. The width 121 may be approximately equal to the diameter 113 of the cylindrical tube 110.

[0018] The tip 130 of the smoking product jacket 110 is located at the proximal end 112 of the cylindrical tube 110. The tip 130 may further be configured from materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, and/or glass.

[0019] Referring now to FIG. 2, a perspective view of the smoking product jacket 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention, is disclosed. Here again, the smoking product jacket 100 may include a combustible, hollow cylindrical tube 110 having a distal end 111, a proximal end 112, and a diameter 113. The cylindrical tube 110 may also include a length 116. As before, the length 116 of the cylindrical tube 110 may be approximately three (3) to four (4) inches. In the cone-shaped embodiment, the side flap 120 may not extend away from the outside surface 114, but rather wrap around the tube 110 in a staggered formation.

[0020] Finally, the cylindrical tube 110 may be rolled from a flat sheet 115, wherein the side flap 120 may be a continuation of the rolled flat sheet 115. The side flap 120 of the jacket 100 may include a substantially rectangular configuration. The tip 130 of the smoking product jacket 110 is located at the proximal end 112 of the cylindrical tube 110. The tip 130 may further be configured from materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, and/or glass.
