Abstract
The TamaJama Hospital pajama/gown is designed to fit around any medical device going into or alongside of the body, that needs to remain there for extended periods of time. The gown provides comfort, privacy, and ease for patients and provides convenience for doctors, nurses and family members to care for the patient.
Claims
1. A hospital gown for a patient comprising a front panel and a back panel, optionally detachable, wherein the gown fits over a PICC line, tube, wire, or any medical device.
2. The hospital gown of claim 1 wherein the gown is designed to allow the PICC line, tube, wire, or any medical device to fit alongside the body.
3. The hospital gown of claim 1 or 2 wherein the front panel and back panel attached to each other via a fastener.
4. The hospital gown of any of claims 1-3 wherein the fastener is a snap fastener, tie, button, clasp, magnet, Velcro, clip, hook, or loop fastener.
5. The hospital gown of claim 1 wherein the gown is substantially similar to FIG. 1.
6. The hospital gown of claim 1 wherein the gown is substantially similar to FIG. 2.
7. The hospital gown of claim 1 wherein the gown is substantially similar to FIG. 4.
8. The hospital gown of claim 1 wherein the gown is substantially similar to FIG. 5.
9. The hospital gown of claim 1 wherein the gown is substantially similar to FIG. 6.
10. The hospital gown of claim 7 wherein the gown is substantially similar to FIG. 7.

[0013] In order for the embodiments disclosed herein to be fully understood it will now be described by way of the following examples in which embodiments of the hospital gown are shown in FIGS. 1-7. Turning to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is a front view of the TamaJama Hospital Pajama/Gown containing snaps, ties, buttons, clasps, magnets, Velcro, clip or a hook and loop type fastener or any type of fastener on the front of the gown/pajama. FIG. 2 is a view of both front and back panels which are mirror images. Both panels can completely detach from one another. They are attached to each other by either snaps, ties, buttons, clasps, magnets, Velcro, clip or a hook and loop type fastener or any type of fastener. This makes it possible to wear over PICC lines or any other wire, tube or medical device that must stay in along the body for extended periods of time. FIG. 3 is a view of the snaps, ties, buttons, clasps, magnets, Velcro, clip or a hook and loop type fastener or any type of fastener that will run from the neck seem down along the top of both arms to the wrist. FIG. 4 is a view of the snaps, ties, buttons, clasps, magnets, Velcro, clip or a hook and loop type fastener or any type of fastener that run along the outer parts of the body starting from the ankle and running upwards to the armpit and along the inside of the arm down to the wrist on both the left and right sides of the body. FIG. 5 is a view of the snaps, ties, buttons, clasps, magnets, Velcro, clip or a hook and loop type fastener or any type of fastener that will be placed along the inner side of the legs starting at one ankle and running up one leg, continuing on past the bottom area and back down the adjacent leg, stopping at the opposite ankle. FIG. 6 is a view of both front and back panels laying side by side being connected by a string (of some sort), so that the panels will not be lost from each other. Yet still allows for the garment to be worn over and around all wires, PICC lines, tubes or any other medical need the patient has. FIG. 7 is a drawing the TamaJama Hospital Pajama/Gown in gown form. It functions exactly the same as the pant style pajama. It is simply another design to give options for a different preference. Although this invention has been described by detailing certain embodiments it is not intended to be limited to this set of materials and dimensions. Rather, the scope of this invention is defined by the following claims.
