Abstract
A frame structure for a basket has: a woven basket body and a frame portion. The basket body has a bottom portion and a sidewall portion disposed along an edge of the bottom portion and extending upwardly. The sidewall portion comprises an integrating portion at an end opposite of the bottom portion. The frame portion has a looped shape corresponding to the integrating portion of the woven basket body and comprises a connecting inner edge corresponding to an inner side of the frame portion and an outer edge corresponding to an outer side of the frame portion. The frame portion utilizes the connecting inner edge to secure onto the integrating portion of the woven basket body by welding, hot press or punching methods, and the outer edge of the frame portion is disposed adjacent to an outer edge of the sidewall portion.
Claims
1. A frame structure for a basket comprising: a woven basket body comprising a bottom portion and a sidewall portion disposed along an edge of the bottom portion and extending upwardly, the sidewall portion comprising an integrating portion at an end opposite of the bottom portion and extending outwardly from the sidewall portion; and a frame portion having a looped shape to frame the woven basket body and comprising a connecting inner edge corresponding to the integrating portion and an outer edge extending down along and spaced from the sidewall portion, wherein a gap exists between the outer edge and the sidewall portion for slidable mounting of the basket, a substantially 90° angle formed between the connecting inner edge and the outer edge such that the frame portion has an L-shaped cross section, the connecting inner edge of the frame portion securely connected to the integrating portion of the woven basket body.
2. A frame structure for a basket comprising: a woven basket comprising a bottom portion and a sidewall portion disposed along an edge of the bottom portion and extending upwardly, the sidewall portion comprising an integrating portion at an end opposite of the bottom portion; a frame portion having a looped shape corresponding to the integrating portion of the woven basket body and comprising a connecting inner edge corresponding to an inner side of the frame portion and an outer edge corresponding to an outer side of the frame portion, an enhancing inner edge provided at an inner side of the connecting inner edge, a substantially 90° angle formed between the outer edge and the connecting inner edge such that the frame portion has an asymmetric U-shaped cross section, the frame portion utilizing the connecting inner edge to secure onto the integrating portion of the woven basket body and the enhancing inner edge to secure onto to an inner side of the sidewall portion of the sidewall portion such that the outer edge of the frame portion is adjacent to an outer edge of the sidewall portion.
3. A frame structure for a basket comprising: a woven basket comprising a bottom portion and a sidewall portion disposed along an edge of the bottom portion and extending upwardly, the sidewall portion comprising an integrating portion at an end opposite of the bottom portion; a frame portion having a looped shape corresponding to the integrating portion of the woven basket body and also having a connecting inner edge corresponding to an inner side of the frame portion and an outer edge corresponding to an outer side of the frame portion, a curved portion disposed between the connecting inner edge and the outer edge such that the frame portion has a U-shaped cross section, the frame portion utilizing the curved portion to cover the integrating portion of woven basket body, the frame portion also utilizing the connecting inner edge to secure onto the sidewall portion of the integrating portion of the woven basket body, and the outer edge of the frame portion is disposed adjacent to an outer edge of the sidewall portion.
4. The frame structure of claim 1 wherein the frame portion has a looped shape defining an opening for the woven basket.
5. The frame structure for a basket of claim 1 wherein the outer edge of the frame portion is slidably mounted on a drawer track, the drawer track comprising a limiting member disposed in the gap.
6. The frame structure for a basket of claim 1 wherein the connecting inner edge of the frame portion is securely connected to the integrating portion of the woven basket body by a welding, a hot pressing or a punching method.
