Abstract
An bag with a top, a bottom and sides, wherein at least one side is convertible to a washable diaper changing surface. The diaper changing surface includes a flap that is movable from a closed state to an open state providing a portion of the diaper changing surface, and in the closed state sequesters soiled surfaces and items to prevent contamination of the remainder of the bag. The bag includes a number of pockets, sleeves and other cavities having visual indicators responsive to pocket contents, that indicate at a glance whether the pocket contains an item, or is empty.
Claims
1. A bag comprising: 1) a bag including at least a floor, a back side, a top side, a front side wall and sides between the back side and the front side wall, the bag further including a plurality of pockets wherein at least one of the plurality of pockets has a see-through front face, a back surface and a gap between the front face and back surface; 2) a first indicator visible on the front face, and a second indicator visible on the back surface, wherein when the front face and back surface of each pocket are directly adjacent, a combined indicator is formed indicating that the pocket is devoid of contents; 3) a closed bag configuration wherein an extendable portion of the bag includes a first panel forming the back side of the bag and a second panel forming the top side of the bag and a third panel overlapping the front side wall of the bag, and wherein the first panel and second panel and third panel are conjoined; and, an open bag configuration wherein the conjoined first panel, second panel and third panel of the extendable portion are pivotable away from the bag floor and convertible to a diaper changing portion adapted to expose an interior of the bag from the top side and back side, the diaper changing portion includes a means to avoid cross contamination of the bag interior including a pivotable flap attached to the diaper changing portion which is configured to expose a diaper changing surface of the diaper changing portion in a first position and cover the diaper changing surface in a second position.
2. The bag according to claim 1 wherein when a pocket is filled with contents, only the indicator on the front face is visible.
3. The bag according to claim 1 further comprising descriptive text visible on the front face.
4. A bag comprising: 1) a bag including at least a floor adapted to rest in a flat disposition on a resting surface, a front side wall, a decouplable back side, a decouplable top side, sides between the front side wall and back side, an interior, and a plurality of pockets wherein at least one of the plurality of pockets has a see-through front face, a back surface and a gap between the front face and back surface; 2) the at least one pocket includes a visual indicator with two states responsive to contents of the at least one pocket indicating a filled or empty status of the at least one pocket; 3) a closed bag position comprising a decouplable front flap overlapping the front side wall; the decouplable front flap is conjoined with the decouplable top side and the decouplable back side, wherein the decouplable front flap, the decouplable top side and decouplable back side form a diaper changing panel that is pivotable away from the bag floor and adapted to expose the interior of the bag from the top side and back side and to rest in a flat disposition on a resting surface, the diaper changing panel includes a means to avoid cross contamination of the bag interior including a pivotable flap configured to expose a diaper changing surface of the diaper changing panel in an open diaper changing position and cover the diaper changing surface of the diaper changing panel in a closed diaper changing position.
5. The bag according to claim 4 wherein when a pocket is filled with contents, only the indicator on the front face is visible.
6. The bag according to claim 4 further comprising descriptive text visible on the front face.
