Abstract
The multi-use stretching and exercising device is comprised of a non-elastic strap, with removable comfort support pad and two affixed hand finger grip mounts. The strap having a left end and right end is affixed at the left end by a hand finger grip mount and at the right end by another hand finger grip mount. The device is capable of being set in motion in response to a force acting upon both opposing hand finger grip mounts while the strap with removable comfort support is in contact with the head, leg, arm or overhead structure.
Claims
1. A multi-use stretching and exercise device allowing a user to stretch and exercise muscles and limbs, comprising: a non-elastic elongated strap having a left end and a right end; and a first finger grip mount affixed to said strap's left end and a second finger grip mount affixed to said strap's right end, each of said first and second finger grip mounts having indentations for each finger of a hand so that fingers can comfortably grasp said first and second finger grip mounts wherein a user a force on said first and second finger grip mounts to perform stretching exercises.
2. The device according to claim 1 further comprising a removable comfort support pad on said non-elastic strap.
3. The device according to claim 2 wherein said comfort support pad further comprises loops through which said non-elastic strap is threaded.
4. The device according to claim 1 wherein said non-elastic strap is configured to be placed upon a body part to be exercised.
5. The device according to claim 4 wherein said body part comprises one of the group containing a head, ankle, arm, leg, hip, neck, chest, and abdomen.
6. The device according to claim 2 wherein said comfort support pad on said non-elastic strap is configured to be placed upon a body part to be exercised.
7. The device according to claim 6 wherein said body part comprises one of the group containing a head, ankle, arm, leg, hip, neck, chest, and abdomen.
8. The device according to claim 1 wherein said non-elastic strap is configured to be placed over an overhead structure to exercise a body part.
9. The device according to claim 8 wherein said body part comprises one of the group containing a head, ankle, arm, leg, hip, neck, chest, and abdomen.
10. A multi-use stretching and exercise device allowing a user to stretch and exercise muscles and limbs, comprising: a non-elastic elongated strap having a left end and a right end; a first finger grip mount affixed to said strap's left end and a second finger grip mount affixed to said strap's right end, each of said first and second finger grip mounts having indentations for each finger of a hand so that fingers can comfortably grasp said first and second finger grip mounts; and a removable comfort support pad threaded on said non-elastic strap wherein a user exerts a force on said first and second finger grip mounts to perform stretching exercises.
11. The device according to claim 10 wherein said comfort support pad further comprises loops through which said non-elastic strap is threaded.
12. The device according to claim 10 wherein said non-elastic strap is configured to be placed upon a body part to be exercised.
13. The device according to claim 11 wherein said body part comprises one of the group containing a head, ankle, arm, leg, hip, neck, chest, and abdomen.
14. The device according to claim 10 wherein said non-elastic strap is configured to be placed over an overhead structure to exercise a body part.
15. The device according to claim 15 wherein said body part comprises one of the group containing a head, ankle, arm, leg, hip, neck, chest, and abdomen.
16. A method of stretching and exercising muscles and limbs comprising: providing a multi-use stretching and exercise device, comprising: a non-elastic elongated strap having a left end and a right end; and a first finger grip mount affixed to said strap's left end and a second finger grip mount affixed to said strap's right end, each of said first and second finger grip mounts having indentations for each finger of a hand so that fingers can comfortably grasp said first and second finger grip mounts; placing said non-elastic strap around a limb or a muscle; gripping said first and second finger grip mounts; and exerting a force on said first and second finger grip mounts to perform stretching exercises.
17. The method according to claim 16 wherein said device further comprises a removable comfort support pad on said non-elastic strap.
18. The method according to claim 17 wherein said comfort support pad further comprises loops through which said non-elastic strap is threaded.
19. The method according to claim 16 wherein said limb or muscle comprises one of the group containing a head, ankle, arm, leg, hip, neck, chest, and abdomen.
20. The method according to claim 16 wherein substantially no change to body position is required to exercise a different limb or muscle.
