    Abstract

The invention relates to a hand-held firearm and is a firearm having a cutout on the lateral surface of the receiver, in to which a removable magazine is placed, which makes it possible to bring the breech end of the barrel closer to the trigger, making it possible to shorten the length of the weapon. The invention is aimed at reducing the size of the firearm, which improves the operational characteristics of the firearm.

THE BEST EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

    [0030] Firearm (FIG. 1, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, FIG. 7) contains a barrel 1, a bolt 2, a receiver 3, a firing mechanism 4, a magazine 5 for cartridges 5.1 (FIG. 3), a stock 6.

    [0031] Receiver 3 (FIG. 2) contains a channel 3.1 for placing the barrel 1, a channel 3.2 for placing a bolt 2, a cutout 3.5 for placing a magazine 5 (FIG. 4), a lateral surface 3.10.

[0032] Magazine 5 (FIG. 3) is designed to accommodate cartridges 5.1.

[0033] The magazine 5 is installed in the cutout 3.5 of the receiver 3 according to the diagram on FIG. 4.

[0034] The magazine 5 installed in the firearm (FIG. 5) is located eccentrically relative to the vertical plane Y passing through the longitudinal axis of the barrel 1.

[0035] The magazine 5 installed in the firearm (FIG. 6) is located in such a way that its elements do not protrude beyond the lateral surface 3.10 of the receiver 3.

[0036] The breech end 1.2 of the barrel 1 (FIG. 7) is located relative to the trigger 4.1 of the firing mechanism 4 at a distance of T, which is not more than 70 mm.
