    Abstract

    A disposable personal protector shield mainly for individuals involved in food preparation in the food service industry, such as all types of restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores and the like. Alternatively, the disposable personal protector shield can be used for painters to be protected from splashes and spills. The disposable personal protector shield provides the user with an easy and convenient application using adhesive tape strip elements around its perimeter which be attached directly to one's garment of skin. In addition, the disposable personal protector shield comprises of an antimicrobial protection coating with antimicrobial properties that protect against growth of viruses, germs, mildew, bacteria and the like. Comprising of a biodegradable material, the disposable personal protector shield can be easily discarded after each use. The overall design provides protection by consisting of a top edge having corresponding edges from which downwardly contoured cut-out sections at the distal point of which the remainder of the body portion extends. The top edge is designed to be placed generally along the collar bone area of user. The cut-out sections are provided to accommodate unimpeded movement of the arms of the user. The remaining body portion is designed to cover the remainder of the torso and upper leg region. Even more so, the functionality of the disposable personal protector shield promotes good hygienic methods and practice for the preparation of food.

    Claims

    1. A disposable body shield comprising: a shield of a non-woven material that keeps food being prepared from coming in contact with contaminants; a disposable body shield from a biodegradable material; comprised of an an antimicrobial element coating on one or both sides; a synthetic material with an antimicrobial element coating; a commercial adhesive element; photochromic changing ink and glow in the dark element.

    2. The disposable body shield of claim 1 further comprising a yoke attached to the top upper portion made of said non-woven biodegradable material with said antimicrobial element coating.

    3. A disposable body shield comprising: a shield of a non-woven material that keeps food being prepared from coming in contact with contaminants; a disposable body shield from a biodegradable material; an antimicrobial element coating; a synthetic material with an antimicrobial element coating; a commercial adhesive element; a photochromic changing ink and glow in the dark element; an arm sleeve covering made of a biodegradable material; a said non-woven material with an antimicrobial element coating that fold for maximum coverage; a synthetic material with an antimicrobial element coating; a commercial adhesive element that is permanently attached to the sleeve with the other half to be removed along the backside that is covered by a corresponding layer of biodegradable cover film to prevent the adhesive from attaching to objects before usage; a leg covering made of said biodegradable material and said non-woven material with an antimicrobial element coating that fold for maximum coverage; a folding leg covering that is made of a synthetic material with an antimicrobial element coating; a leg covering with a commercial adhesive element.

    4. The disposable body shield of claim 3 further comprising a yoke attached to the top upper portion made of said biodegradable material with an antimicrobial element coating.

    5. The disposable body shield of claim 3 further comprising a composite torso, folding arm sleeves and leg coverings functioning as a body shield for painters.

    6. A method for manufacturing a disposable body shield comprising the steps of: a continuous printing, coating and cutting process; a process for sheets of material printed with the preferred branding, logos, graphics, photochromic changing inks onto the material, a process for printing photochromic changing inks that is applied in specified locations regarding the end user preferences for special graphics, brand, messages and the like; a process before being cut and rolled into sheets or strips, applying a surface is machine glaze with the preferred coating on one or both sides and an antimicrobial element, coating or film is applied on one or both sides; an impregnated wax with an antimicrobial substance that is applied on one or both sides; a manufacturing process where the sheets or strip of sheets are repeatedly perforated, cut and with an added adhesive element applied that will be used for attaching the body shield to the wearer; a process where the sheets or strips are arranged and packaged.

    7. The method of claim 6 wherein a glow in the dark ink is applied in specified locations regarding the end user preferences for special graphics, brand, messages and the like.

    8. The method of claim 6 wherein the disposable body shield torso covering is cut and contoured cut with a pattern template as a single piece.

    9. The method of claim 6 further comprising a yoke of a biodegradable material is applied with a biodegradable glue.

    10. The method of claim 6 wherein the disposable body shield torso and arm sleeve coverings are cut out as one piece with a single pattern template.

    11. The disposable body shield of claim 3 wherein said composite torso consists of folding arm sleeves.

    12. The disposable body shield of claim 11 wherein said composite torso consists of folding arm sleeves further comprising of a yoke.

    14. The disposable body shield of claim 1 wherein a commercial adhesive element is used for attaching the shield directly to one's skin or gourmet.

    15. The disposable body shield of claim 1 further comprising a photochromic changing ink that activate when exposed to outdoor ultraviolet sunlight.

    16. The disposable body shield of claim 1 further comprising of kraft paper, wax paper or other non-woven synthetic materials.

    17. The disposable body shield of claim 2 further comprising of kraft paper, wax paper or other non-woven synthetic materials.

    18. The disposable body shield of claim 1 further comprising a single torso covering with a commercial adhesive element that is permanently attached with the other half to be removed along the backside that is covered by a corresponding layer of biodegradable cover film to prevent the adhesive from attaching to objects before usage.

The disposable body shield 1 consists of a non-woven biodegradable material preferably kraft paper, wax coated laminated paper or wax paper with a 151b-301b weight for shield 7 for covering the torso area which is eco-friendly and does not cause harm to the environment. However, those skilled in the art will understand that the weight of the material is not limited to any particular weight. Kraft and wax paper are made from soybeans, vegetable oil or paraffin, also as well as bees wax and these components are compostable materials.
