Abstract
A roller-type linear guide with an oil storage function and an oil storage accessory thereof are disclosed. The roller-type linear guide includes a rail, a slider unit, a plurality of rollers, and an oil storage member. The slider unit is mounted on the rail to form a circulation passage. The rollers are disposed in the circulation passage to drive the slider unit to reciprocate on the rail. The rollers each have a rolling surface. A non-load passage of the circulation passage has two first inner surfaces facing the rolling surface. The oil storage member is disposed in a concave portion of the first inner surfaces, thereby lubricating the rollers running in the non-load passage. The oil storage accessory is disposed in a through hole of the slider rigid body to form the non-load passage.
Claims
1. A roller-type linear guide, comprising: a rail, extending along an axial direction thereof; a slider unit, straddling the rail so that a load passage is formed between the slider unit and the rail, the slider unit including a slider rigid body and two end caps, the two end caps being connected to two ends of the slider rigid body, the slider rigid body having a non-load passage therein, the two end caps each having a turning passage communicating with the load passage and the non-load passage to form a circulation passage; a plurality of rollers, disposed in the circulation passage to be rolled and circulated for driving the slider unit to reciprocate on the rail; the rollers each having a rolling surface and two non-rolling surfaces, the non-load passage of the slider rigid body having two first inner surfaces facing the rolling surface and two second inner surfaces facing the two non-rolling surfaces, at least one of the first inner surfaces including a recess forming a concave portion corresponding to the rolling surface, each of the two second inner surfaces of the non-load passage including a recess forming an accommodating groove; a roller holding chain, configured to connect the rollers in series, the roller holding chain having a holding portion accommodated in the accommodating groove; and an oil storage member, disposed in the concave portion and being in contact with the rollers.
2. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the concave portion extends along a whole length of the non-load passage, and the oil storage member extends along the whole length of the concave portion.
3. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the slider rigid body has a through hole extending through the two ends of the slider rigid body, an oil storage accessory is disposed in the through hole to form the non-load passage, the first inner surfaces, the second inner surfaces and the concave portion are formed on the oil storage accessory.
4. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the concave portion is a rectangular groove, and a plurality of spaced retaining plates are provided in the concave portion, the oil storage member is interlaced with the retaining plates.
5. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the concave portion is a dovetail groove.
6. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the concave portion is an arc-shaped groove with a curvature greater than 180 degrees.
7. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, an inner surface of the turning passage of at least one of the end caps is provided with the oil storage member, and the oil storage member is in contact with the rolling surfaces of the rollers.
8. The roller-type linear guide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the concave portion is centrally located in the first inner surface.
9. An oil storage accessory of a linear guide, mounted in a through hole of a slider rigid body, the oil storage accessory comprising: a non-load passage, the non-load passage being in the form of a first rectangular groove and having two opposite first inner surfaces and two opposite second inner surfaces, at least one of the first inner surfaces including a recess forming a second rectangular groove, each of the two second inner surfaces of the non-load passage including a recess forming an accommodating groove; and an oil storage member retained in the second rectangular groove and being in contact with rollers.
10. The oil storage accessory of the linear guide, as claimed in claim 9, wherein the oil storage accessory is provided with a plurality of spaced retaining plates arranged in the concave portion.
11. The oil storage accessory of the linear guide, as claimed in claim 9, wherein the second rectangular groove is a dovetail groove.
12. The oil storage accessory of the linear guide, as claimed in claim 9, wherein the second rectangular groove is an arc-shaped groove with a curvature greater than 180 degrees.
13. The oil storage accessory of the linear guide, as claimed in claim 9, wherein the oil storage accessory is a pipe, and the pipe is composed of two half pipes that are joined.
14. The oil storage accessory of the linear guide, as claimed in claim 9, wherein the second rectangular groove is centrally located in the first inner surface.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
(10) Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
(11) As shown in
(12) Through the circular rolling of the rollers (4) in the circulation passage, the slider unit (2) can run on the rail (1). When the rollers (4) enters the non-load passage (31), the rolling surfaces (41) of the rollers (4) can be lubricated by the oil storage member (5) along the whole length of the non-load passage (31) to ensure the stability of the circular rolling of the rollers (4). The oil storage member (5) is disposed in the non-load passage (31), which does not increase the volume of the slider unit (2) and is beneficial for the miniaturization of the linear guide. Besides, the oil storage member (5) is arranged on the oil storage accessory (3), not occupying the volume of the slider rigid body (21), so it will not affect the rigidity of the slider rigid body (21). The oil storage member (5) is in contact with the respective two sides of the rollers (4), so the contact area with the rollers (4) is larger and the lubrication effect is better.
