[0031] If expedient, the embodiments and refinements described can be combined with one another in any desired manner. Further possible configurations, refinements and implementations of the invention also encompass combinations—not explicitly mentioned—of features of the invention described above or below with regard to the embodiments.

[0032] The accompanying drawings are intended to convey a further understanding of the embodiments of the invention. They illustrate embodiments and, in conjunction with the description, serve to clarify principles and concepts of the invention. Other embodiments and many of the advantages mentioned become apparent with regard to the drawings. The elements of the drawings are not necessarily shown in a manner true to scale with respect to one another. The same reference signs denote components which are the same or have a similar effect.

[0033] FIG. 1 shows a schematic plan view of an exemplary arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2. As can be seen in FIG. 1, this arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2 has two retaining means 4A, 4B, which secure the plate-like material 2 in the longitudinal direction (from the top and bottom in the figure). This arrangement 1 also has two retaining means 4C, 4D, which secure the plate-like material 2 in the transverse direction (from the left and right in the figure).

[0034] FIG. 2 shows a schematic side view of an exemplary arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2, and FIG. 3 shows a schematic front view of an exemplary arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2. As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the plate-like material 2 is arranged on a carrier 3. The retaining means 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D extend around the plate-like material 2 and around the carrier 3 and in the process secure the plate-like material 2 in all spatial directions.

[0035] FIG. 4 shows a schematic plan view of an embodiment of an arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2 according to the present invention. As can be seen in FIG. 4, this arrangement 1 has four L-shaped, angled securing devices 5A, 5B, 5C and 5D, each having a first leg and a second leg which are provided at the corners 6 of the plate-like material 2. It can also be seen in FIG. 4 that the angled securing devices 5A, 5B, 5C and 5D are each fixed to a leg by the retaining means 4A and 4B. The retaining means 4A and 4B may be formed from metal, plastic and/or from a fibre. In this way, it is possible to secure the plate-like material 2 both in the longitudinal direction (from the top and bottom in the figure) and in the transverse direction (from the left and right in the figure).

[0036] FIG. 5 shows a schematic side view of an embodiment of an arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2 according to the present invention, and FIG. 6 shows a schematic front view of an embodiment of an arrangement 1 for securing plate-like material 2 according to the present invention. As can be seen in FIGS. 5 and 6, the corners 6 of the plate-like material 2 are enclosed by the angled securing devices 5A, 5B, 5C and 5D. It can also be seen that the retaining means 4A and 4B fix the angled securing devices 5A, 5B, 5C and 5D at the corners 6 of the plate-like material 2. In this way, it is possible that the plate-like material 2 is secured against slipping in all spatial directions.

[0037] FIG. 7 shows a schematic plan view of an embodiment of an angled securing device 5 according to the present invention. The angled securing device 5 has a first leg 7 and a second leg 8. In this embodiment of the angled securing device 5, the first leg 7 and the second leg 8 have the same length. The angle between the first leg 7 and the second leg 8 is 90° degrees. The angled securing device 5 is formed e.g. from metal or plastic.

[0038] FIG. 8 shows a schematic plan view of a further embodiment of an angled securing device 5 according to the present invention. In this embodiment, the first leg 7 has a shorter form than the second leg 8.

[0039] FIG. 9 shows a schematic plan view of a further embodiment of an angled securing device 5 according to the present invention. As in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 8, the first leg 7 has a shorter form than the second leg 8. In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 9, a rubber lining 9 is also provided on that side of the angled securing device 5 which faces the plate-like material 2. The rubber lining 9 serves to protect the plate-like material 2.

[0040] FIG. 10 shows a schematic plan view of a further embodiment of an angled securing device 5 according to the present invention. As in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 8, the first leg 7 has a shorter form than the second leg 8. In this embodiment of the angled securing device 5, a rubber lining 9 is also formed on the side facing the retaining means 4A, 4B. In this way, the fixing of the angled securing device 5 by the retaining means 4A, 4B is improved, since the coefficient of friction between the angled securing device 5 and the retaining means 4A, 4B is increased.

[0041] FIG. 11 shows a schematic plan view of a further embodiment of an angled securing device 5 according to the present invention. As in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 8, the first leg 7 has a shorter form than the second leg 8. In this embodiment, the angled securing device 5 has a rubber lining 9 on the side facing the plate-like material 2. Moreover, the angled securing device 5 has a rubber lining 9 on the side facing the retaining means 4A, 4B.

[0042] FIG. 12 shows a schematic plan view of an embodiment of a carrier 3 according to the present invention. In this embodiment, the carrier 3 of the arrangement 1 has, at its corners, grooves 10 into which the angled securing devices 5 can be pushed. In this way, the stability of the arrangement 1 can be improved further. The carrier 3 may be formed, for example, from wood, plastic or metal. The carrier 3 may, however, also be formed as a Europool pallet.
