Abstract
The invention relates to a device for a utility vehicle structure, having at least one component (38, 39, 40, 43) of the utility vehicle structure with a pixel technology-based display field (5, 6) for displaying changing motifs, said display field having a plurality of separately actuatable display pixels. The display field is attached to the exterior of the component or is structurally integrated into the exterior of the component.
Claims
1. A device for a utility vehicle structure, comprising: at least one component of the utility vehicle structure; and a pixel-technological display field for displaying changing motifs, wherein the display field has a multiplicity of separately controllable display pixels, wherein the display field is attached to an outside of the at least one component of the utility vehicle structure or is structurally integrated into the at least one component of the utility vehicle.
2. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display field is a color display field for displaying colored motifs.
3. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the display field is a self-luminous display field.
4. The device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the display field has background lighting for illuminating non-self-luminous display pixels and/or self-luminous display pixels of the separately controllable display pixels.
5. The device as claimed in claim 3 wherein the display field produces light emission that is less than +0.5 cd/m.sup.2 in comparison to an averaged, relative ambient light.
6. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein a pixel distance between the separately controllable display pixels of the display field is at least 1 mm.
7. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the at least one component to which the display field is attached or to which the device is structurally integrated is selected from the group consisting of a door leaf, a side wall, a rear wall, a roof wall, a tail lift, and a cover of the utility vehicle structure.
8. The device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the display field is integrated into the cover or is attached to the cover.
9. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the display field is flexibly preformable.
10. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the display field has an area of at least 1 m.sup.2.

12. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the display field protrudes from an outer surface of the at least one component by less than 15 mm.
13. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the display field is embodied in a the form of a non-lighting and non-light-signalling function.
14. The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the display field is embodied in the form of a one-part or multi-part display field.
15. A utility vehicle structure, comprising: at least one component selected from the group consisting of a door leaf, a side wall, a rear wall, a roof wall, a tail lift, and a cover; and at least one device comprising a pixel-technological display field for displaying changing motifs, wherein the display field has a multiplicity of separately controllable display pixels, wherein the display field is attached to an outside of the at least one component or is structurally integrated into the at least one component.
16. The device of claim 2 wherein the color display field comprises CMY or CMYK electrowetting technology
17. The device of claim 1 wherein a pixel distance between the separately controllable display pixels of the display field is at least 4 mm.
18. The device as claimed in claim 8 wherein integration or attachment is performed by an operation selected from the group consisting of adhesive bonding, welding, and sewing.
19. The device of claim 9 wherein the display field is foldable.
20. The utility vehicle structure of claim 15 wherein the display field makes up one or more of at least 50% of an outer surface of one or more of the door leaf, the rear wall, the tail lift, or the cover.
21. The utility vehicle structure of claim 15 wherein the display field makes up one or more of at least 30% of an outer surface of the side wall, the roof wall, the door leaf, or the cover.
