DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS
[0036] In the following detailed description, only certain exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, simply by way of illustration.
[0037] As those skilled in the art would realize, the described embodiments may be modified in various different ways, all without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention.
[0038] Throughout the specification, parts marked with the same reference number mean the same constituent elements.
[0039] In the drawings, the thickness of layers, films, panels, regions, etc. are exaggerated for clarity.
[0040] When a part such as a layer, film, region, or plate is said to be “on” another part, this includes not only the case directly above the other part, but also the case where there is another part intervening.
[0041] In contrast, when an element is referred to as being “directly on” another element, there are no intervening elements present.
[0042] Throughout the specification, when a part “includes” a certain component, it means that other components may be further included rather than excluding other components unless specifically stated to the contrary.
[0043] Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0044]
[0045] Referring to
[0046] The handle unit 10 may further include a handle rotation pin 24 for rotatably mounting the outside handle 20 to the handle housing 30.
[0047]
[0048] Referring to
[0049] Here, when the operation rod 48 pushes the damage prevention mechanism 70, the damage prevention mechanism 70 pushes the pushing portion 22 to rotate the outside handle 20. However, even if the outside handle 20 rotates in the opposite direction and the pushing portion 22 pushes the damage prevention mechanism 70, the damage prevention mechanism 70 does not transmit more than a predetermined force to the operation rod 48 to prevent damage to the actuator 40 by the operation of the selectable locking portion 100.
[0050] The selectable locking portion 100 may include a spring housing 82 formed in the first body 80, a stopper elastic portion 102 provided in the spring housing 82, a stopper 104 supported by the stopper elastic portion 102, and a stopper groove 92 formed in the second body 90 and into which the stopper 104 is inserted.
[0051] A housing stopper 32 may be formed on the handle housing 30, and a body stopper 84 may be formed on the first body 80 to selectively contact the housing stopper 32.
[0052] A connection protrusion 94 may be formed on the second body 90 to connect with the operation rod 48.
[0053]
[0054] Referring to
[0055] The retractable outside door handle assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include a handle leg 26 formed on the outside handle 20 to enable contact with the door latch lever 60 when protruding by the operation of the actuator 40.
[0056] The retractable outside door handle assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include a handle spring 28 that provides a reaction torque to the outside handle 20. After the driver or occupant manipulates the outside handle 20, the outside handle 20 can be repositioned into the handle housing 30 by the reaction torque of the handle spring 28.
[0057] Hereinafter, an operation of a retractable outside door handle assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0058] Referring to
[0059] Then, the operation rod 48 protrudes and pushes the damage prevention mechanism 70, and the damage prevention mechanism 70 pushes the pushing portion 22.
[0060] At this time, the stopper 104 is inserted into the stopper groove 92, and the damage prevention mechanism 70 can push the pushing portion 22.
[0061]
[0062] Referring to
[0063] At this time, the door latch lever 60 does not rotate, and in this state, the driver or occupant can grip the outside handle 20. This state is defined as the door open standby state.
[0064]
[0065] Referring to
[0066]
[0067] In the state as shown in
[0068] However, as shown in
[0069] After that, when the actuator 40 operates and returns to its original position, that is, the state before the operation, the operation rod 48 also returns to the state before the operation, and the second body 90 moves relative to the left side of the drawing. At this time, the body stopper 84 contacts the housing stopper 32, and the first body 80 is limited in its movement, so it returns to the state shown in
[0070] According to the retractable outside door handle assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, damage of parts can be prevented even if the outside handle 20 rotates in reverse due to the occurrence of negligence or external impact of the occupant in the door open standby state.
[0071] While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be practical exemplary embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
