[0017] FIG. 4 illustrates a further embodiment of the carry bag of the present invention, shown as a backpack, having an example of a detachable attachment component, shown as a ladies purse; and

[0018] FIG. 5 illustrates the embodiment of the detachable attachment component, shown as a ladies purse, shown in FIG. 4.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0019] The present invention relates to a multi-use and multi-functional bag having additional storage compartments that can be used to transport materials, and that can be easily adapted for use for additional purposes, and that can selectively display logos, symbols, images, pictures, or other visual matter or the like on the bag, on a rotating basis, if desired by the user. The bag itself can be Network/internet accessible, so as to allow the user to selectively interchange splay material on the bag through access to this.

[0020] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 and 2, the multi-use and multi-functional bag, generally designated by the reference numeral 1 in FIG. 1, will now be described. As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, the multi-component bag 1 comprises a first storage compartment 7 (as shown in FIG. 3) and, in one embodiment, for example purposes only, can constitute a backpack comprising two shoulder straps 9, though it will be understood that numerous configurations to the bag of the present invention are conceivable.

[0021] The multi-component bag 1 is configured to have a first storage compartment 7 and at least one additional storage component (shown as 5 in FIG. 2), which is, in an exemplary embodiment, hidden within or attached to the first storage compartment 7 and is detachably coupled to the first storage compartment 7, thus allowing the user to transport the two components. When desired, the at least one additional storage component 5 can be unfurled from the first storage compartment 7 when necessary. The two components (or more) may be transported hands-free, using the example shown in FIG. 3, by placing the shoulder straps over the user's shoulders. Further, it will be understood that the multi-component bag 1 may comprise additional detachable components, and all such storage components may vary in location on the bag 1.

[0022] In one embodiment, the first storage component 7 and additional storage components can comprise at least one of at least one shoulder strap 9, a handle, a waist securing strap, or any combination thereof. Similarly, any of the additional storage components may have substantially the same dimensions as the first storage compartment 7, if desired. It will also be understood that any of the storage components are constructed from nylon, vinyl, polyester, canvas, cotton, wool, leather, denim, corduroy, palm leaf, banana fibre, coconut leaf, bamboo, wood or any traditional naturally available materials, or combinations thereof, though it will also be understood that variation as to this construction are possible.

[0023] Coupling of the first storage compartment 7 to any of the additional storage components generally can be accomplished through attachment by at least one strap, a buckle, a clip, nook and loop strips, a button, a snap, a zipper, a magnet, or combinations thereof, though variations to this would be possible, as would be obvious to persons skilled in the art.

[0024] In an exemplary embodiment, the carry bag 1 can display selectively interchangeable display material thereon (shown as 3 in FIGS. 1 and 2). Preferably, this display material 3 on the bag is selectively interchangeable by a user of the bag 1 through access to a network or Internet, Wifi, Bluetooth technology, or the like, whereby these images can be changed, as would be obvious to persons skilled in the art. The display such material on the bag could occur on any location on the bag, or multiple locations, such as straps, bindings or the like. The bag 1 itself, and such display material 3, could also be directly coupled or indirectly coupled through connection to the Internet or a network so as to communicate through some interface with other remote devices (such as a cell phone, tablet, etc.), or intermediate components, whether electrically, mechanically, or otherwise.

[0025] In a still further embodiment, the bag 1 is operably able to be disassembled and reconstituted for another purpose, such as (but not limited to) clothing, and can be easily adapted back into its original carry bag form, if desired. For example, the bag and its straps (if any) could be unfurled and expanded to comprise a ladies skirt, or a removable jacket with sleeves, or a picnic blanket, though it will be understood that numerous configurations and adaptations could be accomplished through such manipulation, as would be obvious to persons skilled in the art.

[0026] With reference to FIG. 4, a still further embodiment of the present invention is shown. In this embodiment, there is shown at least one separate component (in this instance, for example only, a ladies hand bag) 11 that can be detachably connected to the carry bag 1 itself. FIG. 5 illustrates such a connection of the ladies bag to the carry bag 1. This detachable connection can be accomplished through attachment by at least one strap, a buckle, a clip, hook and loop strips, a button, a snap, a zipper, a magnet, or combinations thereof, though it will be understood that numerous configurations and adaptations could be accomplished through such manipulation, as would be obvious to persons skilled in the art. It will also be understand that the location of such connection of the separate component 11 can be accomplished at numerous and varied locations on the carry bag 1. The separate component 11 itself can be varied, and encompass numerous variations, such as, but not limited to, a lunch kit, water bottle, travel planner, or the like.

[0027] It will be understood that the separate component 11 itself can then be operably able to be disassembled and reconstituted for another purpose, such as (but not limited to) clothing, and can be easily adapted back into its original carry bag form, if desired. As an example, the ladies bag shown in FIG. 5 could be disassembled to form a picnic blanket, or a skirt, as examples only.

[0028] In a still further embodiment, the separate component 11 could also possess a camera 13 thereon (shown in FIG. 5). The carry bag 1, could also have such a camera 13 (shown in FIG. 4) which would enable a user, through access to a network or Internet, Wifi, Bluetooth technology, or the like, to take images that could change or modify any display material 3 on the carry bag 1 or the separate component 11 itself. This camera could be used when, for example, pressure is applied to the bag, and can be seen in a phone or other application by parents or another party if the person carrying the bag has activated their phone and app to forward wifi and/or data. In addition, both the carry bag 1 and the separate component 11 could additionally possess a GPS locator thereon or within, which would enable 3.sup.rd parties or the user, to locate the carry bag 1 and the separate component 11, through access to a network or Internet, Wifi, Bluetooth technology, or the like, in the event either (or both) are stolen or misplaced.

[0029] The present invention has been described herein with regard to preferred embodiments. However, it will be obvious to persons skilled in the art that a number of variations and modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention as described herein.
