Abstract
A waste removal system with a trailer for the storage of materials such as waste or rubble, wherein said trailer has a front wall a rear wall and plurality of side walls with an extended slope on at least one of said walls to increase the volume capacity therein. The trailer may additionally contain a slanted access door or ramp which alternatively raises and lowers, allowing for ease of ingress and egress of the trailer volume. The waste removal system may additionally include a transport vehicle with a grappler mounted at a distal end of a boom, wherein said grappler grasps waste and deposits said waste into the previously-mentioned trailer for transport to and from a desired location.
Claims
1. An extended slope container for receipt and storage of material and comprising: a trailer frame having a first end and a second end; and a container body mounted on said trailer frame, said container body comprising: a front wall, a rear wall ramp, a plurality of side walls, and a bottom wall, which together define a material receiving receptacle volume; wherein said front wall extends upward from the bottom wall; wherein all said side walls extend upward from the bottom wall; wherein said rear wall ramp is moveably attached to the bottom wall and extends diagonally upward and away from said bottom wall; wherein said rear wall ramp is moveable from a first open position, generally at or beyond a longitudinal axis of the bottom wall so as to allow access to the material receiving receptacle volume, to a second closed position so as to prevent access to the material receiving receptacle volume.
2. The extended slope container of claim 1, wherein the front wall additionally defines a generally v-shaped opening thereon at a distal position away from the bottom wall.
3. The extended slope container of claim 2, further comprising a D-ring with a chain having a first end and a second end, said first end attached to the D-ring, and said D-ring attached to the rear wall ramp at a generally central position within the material receiving receptacle volume.
4. The extended slope container of claim 3, wherein the trailer frame has wheels.
5. The extended slope container of claim 4, further comprising a tab affixed to the rear wall ramp, and further comprising a securing mechanism attached to a side wall of the container body, wherein said securing mechanism is adapted to be received by the tab.
6. The extended slope container of claim 5, wherein the rear wall ramp is moveably attached to the bottom wall with a hinge.
7. The extended slope container of claim 6, wherein the rear wall ramp additionally comprises access slants.
8. The extended slope container of claim 7, further comprising a pair of pistons attached to the rear wall ramp and to the plurality of side walls of the container body so as to move the rear wall ramp between the first open position and the second closed position.
9. The extended slope container of claim 4, further comprising a winch mounted to the container body.
10. The extended slope container of claim 6, wherein the container frame first end is adapted to be received by a vehicle.
11. The extended slope container of claim 10, wherein the vehicle is a log truck loader.
12. A waste removal system comprising: a transport vehicle with a grappler mounted at a distal end of a boom; a trailer frame adapted to be connected to and towed by said transport vehicle; and an extended slope container attached to the trailer frame, said extended slope container comprising an interior volume defined by opposing side walls, a front wall with a generally v-shaped opening defined thereon, a diagonally positioned rear wall, wherein said rear wall additionally comprises a foldable ramp moveably positioned at a first open position allowing access to the interior volume and a second closed position preventing access to the interior volume, and a container floor positioned between the front wall and the rear wall.
13. The waste removal system of claim 12, wherein the grappler includes a first jaw and a second jaw adapted to grasp and hold material.
14. The waste removal system of claim 12, wherein the transport vehicle is a log truck loader.
15. The waste removal system of claim 12, wherein the front wall with a generally v-shaped opening defined thereon additionally comprises steps adapted for a human user to vertically position upon said front wall.
16. A method for retrieving and removing material from an area, comprising the steps of: providing a trailer frame having a first end and a second end, wherein said trailer frame is adapted to be towed behind a vehicle; providing an extended slope container having a front wall having a top and a bottom end, opposing side walls each having a top and a bottom end, and an obliquely positioned rear wall having a top and a bottom end, all together defining an interior volume therein; providing a container floor extended between the front wall bottom end and the rear wall bottom end, and further extended between the bottom end of each of the opposing side walls; providing a moveable ramp defined within the rear wall, such that the moveable ramp is moveable from an open position extending slightly towards and beyond a longitudinal axis defined by the container floor, to a closed position preventing access to the interior volume of the extended slope container; providing an upwardly projected rear face attached to the top end of the rear wall and extending vertically therefrom and perpendicular to the container floor, reaching a horizontal plane with the top end of each of the opposing side walls; providing a D-ring attached to the rear wall at a generally central location from the rear wall top and bottom end; providing a chain with a first and a second end, with the first end of said chain attached to said D-ring; providing an interior securing mechanism within the extended slope container interior volume; positioning the moveable ramp in said closed position; securing the moveable ramp in said closed position with said interior securing mechanism; actuating vehicle; repositioning vehicle to a desired location; grasping the second end of said chain; holding said chain taut; releasing said securing mechanism from moveable ramp; providing slack on said chain so as to lower the moveable ramp into the open position; ingressing the interior volume of the extended slope container; egressing the interior volume of the extended slope container; grasping the second end of said chain; pulling second end of said chain in a direction towards the interior volume of the extended slope container; positioning the moveable ramp in said closed position; and securing the moveable ramp in said closed position with said interior securing mechanism.
17. The method of claim 16, wherein the front wall additionally defines a generally V-shaped opening.
18. The method of claim 16, wherein the vehicle is a log truck loader.
19. The method of claim 18, further comprising: providing a grapple loader; grasping desired material with the grapple loader; positioning grapple loader above the interior volume; and releasing grapple loader and deploying desired material into the interior volume with gravity.
20. The method of claim 16, further comprising: providing a winch; grasping the second end of the chain with said winch; activating said winch and providing pulling force upon said second end of said chain; and reversing direction of said winch so as to release pulling force upon said second end of said chain.
