    5. The work glove leveling apparatus of claim 2 further comprising the plurality of levels including a pair of semi-cylindrical levels and a hemispherical level, the pair of semi-cylindrical levels being arranged perpendicularly adjacent the mount front edge and the mount right edge.

    6. The work glove leveling apparatus of claim 1 further comprising each of the plurality of levels being a spirit level.

    7. The work glove leveling apparatus of claim 1 further comprising each of the plurality of levels being a digital level.

    8. The work glove leveling apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a wrist band coupled to the glove body, the wrist band being coupled adjacent the bottom opening and having a selectively engageable fastener to adjustably tighten the bottom opening on the user's wrist.

    9. A work glove leveling apparatus comprising: a glove body having a bottom opening, a palm portion, a plurality of finger portions, a glove top side, and a glove bottom side; a wrist band coupled to the glove body, the wrist band being coupled adjacent the bottom opening and having a selectively engageable fastener to adjustably tighten the bottom opening on the user's wrist; a level mount coupled to the glove body, the level mount being coupled to the glove top side, the level mount having a peripheral edge being positioned on the palm portion of the glove body wherein an entirety of the level mount is contained on the glove top side within the palm portion, the level mount being rectangular and having a mount front edge, a mount back edge, a mount left edge, and a mount right edge, the level mount being rigid and having rounded corners; and a plurality of levels coupled to the level mount, each level being coupled to a mount top side of the level mount, the plurality of levels including a pair of semi-cylindrical single-axis levels and a hemispherical multi-axis level, the pair of semi-cylindrical levels being arranged perpendicularly adjacent the mount front edge and the mount right edge, each of the plurality of levels being either a spirit level or a digital level.

    Description

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new leveling device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0018] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the work glove leveling apparatus 10 generally comprises a glove body 12 having a bottom opening 14, a palm portion 16, a plurality of finger portions 18, a glove top side 20, and a glove bottom side 22. The glove body 12 may be a durable material standard to work gloves such as, but not limited to, leather, vinyl, and the like.

[0019] A wrist band 24 may be coupled to the glove body 12. The wrist band 24 is coupled adjacent the bottom opening 14 and has a selectively engageable fastener 26 to adjustably tighten the bottom opening 14 on the user's wrist.

[0020] A level mount 28 is coupled to the glove body 12. The level mount 28 is coupled to the glove top side 20 on the palm portion 16 of the glove body. The level mount 28 may be rectangular and has a mount front edge 30, mount back edge 32, a mount left edge 34, and a mount right edge 36. The level mount 28 is rigid and may have rounded corners for user safety and to prevent catching. The level mount 28 may protrude above the glove top side 20.

[0021] A plurality of levels 38 is coupled to the level mount 28. Each level 38 is coupled to a mount top side 40 of the level mount. The plurality of levels 38 may include a pair of semi-cylindrical single-axis levels 42 and a hemispherical multi-axis level 44. The pair of semi-cylindrical levels 42 may be arranged perpendicularly adjacent the mount front edge 30 and the mount right edge 36 in order to read a horizontal and vertical axis in planes parallel to the level mount 28. Each semi-cylindrical level 42 may have a pair of parallel center lines 46 to find the level position. The hemispherical multi-axis level 44 may have a central circle line 48 as well a pair of cross lines 50 to assist the user in making adjustments on additional axes. Each of the plurality of levels 38 may be either a spirit level or a digital level.

[0022] In use, the user wears the glove body 12 like a traditional work glove and positions his or her hand such that the level mount 28 lies parallel to the plane being positioned. The user then reads each of the plurality of levels 38 to achieve the desired position without having to hold a separate level.

[0023] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0024] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
