    Description

[0039] Clarification of the invention is provided by the following figures where [0040] FIG. 1 illustrate a flat spread apron part in plan view; [0041] FIG. 2 shows a leg portion spread flat as a top view of the outside; [0042] FIG. 3 shows a leg portion spread flat as a top view of the inside; [0043] FIG. 4 depicts a leg portion, which is made into a tubular shape; [0044] FIG. 5 is a front view of an illustration of a multifunctional garment set worn as a short apron together with legwarmers; [0045] FIG. 6 shows a multifunctional garment set worn as a long apron in a view from the rear; [0046] FIG. 7 is a side view of an illustration of a multifunctional garment set worn as a short apron together with a rain skirt; [0047] FIG. 8 is a front view of an illustration of a multifunctional garment set worn as a short apron together with leg portions stowed away; and [0048] FIG. 9 shows two leg portions joined along their respective third edges for use as a mat.

[0049] FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the flat-spread apron part 1 of the multifunctional garment set proposed by the invention. Said part has a rectangular basic shape 3, with the edge 4 situated at the bottom when wearing the garment is convexly rounded, i.e. has a downward curvature. Adjoining the upper side of the rectangular basic shape 3 is chest area 5, on the inside of which a chest pocket 6 has been arranged, indicated here by dashed lines. However, it is of course also possible to attach such a breast pocket 6 on the outside. The apron part 1 can be worn by placing lanyard 7 around the neck and the belt 8 around the waist or hips. Moreover, the apron part 1 is provided with fixation means 9 to which the lower edge 4 can be attached when folded upwards.

[0050] Via the fixation means 2, a connection of the apron part 1 can be brought about to attach leg portions 10 as further components of the multifunctional garment set.

[0051] In FIG. 2 a top view of the outer side of a flat-spread leg portion 10 is illustrated, said portion having a basically rectangular basic shape, with the first edge 11, the second edge 12 and the third edge 13 each following a straight line and forming right angles to one another. In contrast, the fourth edge 14 is concavely rounded, i.e. exhibits an inward curvature. Said edge 14 is situated at the top when worn, with the curvature allowing it to better adapt to the shape of the body. The first, second and third edges 11, 12 and 13 are each provided with a connecting means 15 in the form of a zipper or zipper section. Since the leg portion 10 is also intended, inter alia, to be attached to a corresponding second leg portion 10, the connecting means 15 of the two leg portions 10 must be matched to one another in such a manner that a connection can be made along the edges provided for this purpose. For example, the edge that is to be connected to the second edge 12 shown here must be provided with a suitable end piece on the zipper section so that a connection can be made to the respective zipper section shown here which is provided with a slider.

[0052] In addition, leg portion 10 has a fixation means 2, with the aid of which it is possible to secure it to the apron part 1, as shown in FIG. 1.

[0053] FIG. 3 shows the inside of the leg portion 10 of FIG. 2, which in essence largely corresponds to the outside, but is provided with an additional closable opening 16, through which insulating or padding material can be introduced into the space between the two layers of leg portion 10. This may be advisable if the leg portions 10 shall offer additional protection against external influences or if the connected leg portions 10 are to be used as a mat.

[0054] FIG. 4 is the representation of a leg portion 10 that is formed into a tubular shape for use as a legwarmer, i.e., a wrap around a single leg. In combination with the other leg portion 10, this results in the creation of chaps which can be secured to the apron part 1 making use of fixation means 2. In order to bring the leg portion 10 into the tubular shape, the connecting means 15, which are here provided in the form of zipper sections, are attached to each other along the first edge 11 and the second edge 12.

[0055] FIG. 5 illustrates how the multifunctional garment set provided by the invention is worn as a short apron together with legwarmers/chaps. The user 17 has put on the apron part 1 as if it were a conventional apron, for which reason the user passes lanyard 7 around the neck and the belt 8 around the waist. Moreover, two leg portions 10 were formed into a tubular shape as shown in FIG. 4, with the opposing connecting means 15 being joined for this purpose to each other at each of the two leg portions 10 and with the leg portions 10 being subsequently secured to the apron part 1 via fixation means 2 which are not shown here. This enables additional protection to be achieved for the legs and the pants worn under the leg portions 10. The illustration also shows the fixation means 9 provided on the apron part 1, via which the lower edge 4 of the apron part 1 can be folded upwards if so desired and, in this way, creates a kind of pocket or bag in the chest area.

[0056] FIG. 6 illustrates the method of wearing the garment as a long apron. The user 17 has again put on the apron part 1, with two leg portions 10 being connected to each other in this case, said portions in this situation being arranged in front of the legs of the user 17. The two leg portions 10 are connected along the first and second edges of leg portions 10 via the connecting means 15, with the interconnected leg portions 10 being again secured additionally to the apron part 1 via the fixation means 2.

[0057] FIG. 7 shows the wearing method as an apron with a rain skirt. The user wears the apron part 1 as described above. The two leg portions 10 are connected to each other along their first and second edges via the connecting means 15, as shown in FIG. 6, they are not jointly arranged, however, in front of the legs of user 17, but together form a kind of skirt, which is connected to the apron part 1 via fixation means 2. In this manner, protection, in particular weather protection, is provided for the leg area in all directions. The zippers serving as connecting means 15 are preferably designed such that the sliders must be moved downward to achieve complete closure. This enables the user 17 to open the zippers to a certain extent, which facilitates walking with the rain skirt put on.

[0058] FIG. 8 is an illustration of the worn apron part 1 when folded up. This is achieved with the aid of the fixation means 9 provided for this purpose, which may, for example, be matching buttons and buttonholes or snap fasteners. The leg portions 10 can be rolled up and stowed away in the apron part 1. This wearing method results in the creation of a kind of bag in which the user 17 may stow objects.

[0059] Finally, FIG. 9 illustrates how two leg portions 10, which otherwise correspond to the leg portions 10 as they are shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, are joined together along the third edges 13. In this way, a mat is created, which can serve as a padding for a sleeping bag or the like. To further enhance comfort, additional insulating or cushioning material can be inserted through the closable openings 16, and the insertion can be customized by the user as needed or desired, for example, if certain areas of the back require additional support, for instance in the lumbar region.

[0060] Another possibility is to connect the first and second edges 11, 12 of the two leg portions 10 to each other also by means of the connecting means 15 provided for this purpose, whereupon a kind of sack is formed out which is open only in the area of the 4 edges 14. Such a sack can be used for the stowing and storing of objects, plants, plant remains etc., and with the aid of the fixation means it can be attached to the apron part.
