Abstract
A head support apparatus and method with a wrap with a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a length, an inside and an outside and a first end and a second end. A connector on the first end and the second end where the connector on the first end is connectable with the connector on the second end. Cushion material, with a width, on the inside of the wrap where the cushion material width is greater along the length and front to back than at the first end and second end of the wrap and an indentation in the front of the wrap and in the cushion material such that a user's jaw is supported underneath the jaw and a user's head is laterally supported on two sides when said wrap is placed around a user's neck.
Claims
1. A head support apparatus comprising: a. a wrap with a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a length, an inside and an outside and a first end and a second end; b. a connector on the first end and a connector on the second end wherein the connector on the first end is connectable with the connector on the second end; c. cushion material, with width, on the inside of the wrap where the cushion material width is greater along the length and front to back than at the first end and second end of of the wrap; d. an indentation in the front of the wrap and in the cushion material wherein the cushion material is configured to support a user's jaw and a user's head when said wrap is placed around a user's neck; and e. two cut outs, one on each side of the indentation in the cushion material and the wrap, wherein the cut outs are configured to receive and retain a user's shoulders and wherein the cut out on both sides of the indentation are inverted U-shapes.
2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the indentation is in the top of the front of the cushion material and wrap and the cut out on both sides of the indentation are in the bottom of the front of the cushion material and wrap.
3. The apparatus of claim 1 further including a personal protection mask removably connected to said wrap.
4. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the wrap is washable.
5. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the connector on the first end is hook material and the connector on the second end is loop material.
6. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the indentation is in the top of the front of the cushion material and wrap and the cut outs are in the bottom of the wrap and cushion material.
7. A head support apparatus comprising: a. a wrap with a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a length, an inside and an outside and a first end and a second end; b. a connector on the first end and a connector on the second end wherein the connector on the first end is connectable with the connector on the second end; c. cushion material, with a width, on the inside of the wrap where the cushion material width is greater along the length and front to back than at the first end and second end of the wrap; d. a V-shaped indentation in the front of the wrap and in the cushion material wherein the cushion material is configured to support a user's jaw and a user's head when said wrap is placed around a user's neck; and e. two inverted U-shaped cut outs, one on each side of the V-shaped indentation in the cushion material and the wrap, wherein the inverted U-shaped cutouts are configured to receive and retain a user's shoulders.
8. The apparatus of claim 7 wherein the V-shaped indentation is in the top of the front of the wrap and the cushion material and the inverted U-shaped cutouts, one on each side of the V-shaped indentation am in the bottom of the wrap and the cushion material.
9. The apparatus of claim 7 wherein the V-shaped indentation is in the top of the front of the cushion material and wrap and the inverted U-shaped cutouts, one on each side of the V-shaped indentation are in the bottom of the front of the cushion material and wrap.
10. The apparatus of claim 7 further including a personal protection mask removably connected to said wrap.
11. The apparatus of claim 7 wherein the wrap is washable and wherein the connector on one end is hook material and the connector on the other end is loop material.
12. A head support apparatus comprising: a. a wrap with a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a length, an inside and an outside and a first end and a second end; b. a connector on the first end and a connector on the second end wherein the connector on the first end is connectable with the connector on the second end; c. cushion material, with a width, on the inside of the wrap where the cushion material width is greater along the length and front to back than at the first end and second end of the wrap; d. an indentation in the front of the wrap and in the cushion material wherein the cushion material is configured to support a user's jaw and a user's head when said wrap is placed around a user's neck, and e. a personal protection mask removably connected to said wrap.
13. The apparatus of claim 12 wherein the indentation is V-shaped.
14. The apparatus of claim 12 further including two cut outs, one on each side of the indentation in the cushion material and the wrap, wherein the cut outs are configured to receive and retain a user's shoulders.
15. The apparatus of claim 14 wherein the indentation is in the top of the front of the cushion material and wrap and the cut outs are in the bottom of the wrap and cushion material.
16. The apparatus of claim 14 wherein the indentation is in the top of the front of the cushion material and wrap and the cut outs are in the bottom of the front of the cushion material and wrap.
17. The apparatus of claim 12 wherein the wrap is washable.
18. The apparatus of claim 12 wherein the connector on the first end is hook material and the connector on the second end is loop material.

(8) Before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.
(9) As such, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the conception, upon which this disclosure is based, may readily be utilized as a basis for the designing of other structures, methods and systems for carrying out the several purposes of the present invention.
