    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0030] FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a component arrangement 10 having a space-saving latching connection. The component arrangement 10 comprises a carrier element 11 and a first component element 12, which is connected to the carrier element 11 by means of a first latching connection 14. In other words, the first latching connection 14 establishes a latchable connection between the carrier element 11 and the first component element 12 in order to fasten the component element 12 to the carrier element 11.

[0031] Furthermore, the component arrangement 10 comprises a second component element 13, which is connected to the first component element 12 by means of a second latching connection 15. Accordingly, the second latching connection 15 establishes a latchable connection between the first component element 12 and the second component element 13 in order to fasten the second component element 13 to the first component element 12.

[0032] The first latching connection 15 comprises a first latching hook 16. This is formed on the first component element 12, in particular in one piece thereon. The second latching connection 14 comprises a second latching hook 17. This is formed on the second component element 13, in particular in one piece thereon.

[0033] In the installed state, the second latching hook 17 engages form-fittingly around the first latching hook 16 to provide the second latching connection 14 (between these two component elements 12, 13).

[0034] As can be seen in particular in the detail view A, illustrated in FIG. 2, from FIG. 1 and in the perspective view of the component arrangement 10 in FIG. 3, to this end, a hook-like extension 17a of the second latching hook 17 engages form-fittingly around a head region 16a of the first latching hook 16.

[0035] In addition, the first latching hook 16 is form-fittingly engaged with the carrier element 11 to provide the first latching connection 14. The carrier element 11 can, to this end, have for example an undercut 11a, in which the first latching hook 16 can engage with a hook-like extension 16b. The undercut 11a is provided in the illustrated embodiment by a recess, but can also be provided by an extension formed suitably on the carrier element 11.

[0036] As is apparent from the figures, it is possible, with the described component arrangement 10, to use the space required for each particular latching hook 16, 17, including a mounting space which is additionally necessary during mounting on account of elastic deformation of the particular latching hook 16, 17, jointly for both latching hooks 16, 17.

[0037] In the illustrated embodiment, the first latching hook 16 has an outer side 16b that faces away from the carrier element 11 (at least in the region of the first latching connection 14) and faces an inner side 17b of the second latching hook 17. Accordingly, the second latching hook 17 and the first latching hook 16 are arranged in a sandwich-like manner with respect to one another or rest in a sandwich-like manner on one another.

[0038] For mounting, the first latching hook 16 can be mounted on the carrier element 11 first, since, to this end, elastic deformation of the first latching hook 16 is required. The first latching hook 16 has to yield to the carrier element 11 during mounting, in order to latch or snap into place in the final installation position in engagement with the carrier element 11. This would otherwise be prevented by the second latching hook 17 arranged on the outer side 16b of the first latching hook 16 if the first 12 and the second component element 13 were already latched together beforehand.

[0039] Once, however, the first latching hook 16 is mounted, the second latching hook 17 can subsequently be fitted easily on the first latching hook 16 and the compact and space-saving component arrangement 10 can be created.

[0040] FIG. 4 shows a perspective, partially illustrated view of a vehicle front of a vehicle (not illustrated further) in the form for example of a motorbike or of a motorbike-like vehicle.

[0041] This comprises an exemplary embodiment of the component arrangement 10 according to FIGS. 1 to 3. In this case, the first component element 12 may be a holding frame for a sensor, in particular an ACC sensor facing in the vehicle longitudinal direction and/or in the direction of travel. Moreover, the second component element 13 may be a trim part for encasing the first component element 12. In a state installed on the vehicle, the carrier element 11 may be connected to a vehicle structure 19, in particular to a front fairing and/or a front headlamp arrangement, of the vehicle. The connection of the carrier element to the vehicle structure or to a component of the vehicle structure can be embodied in a multipart or one-piece manner.

[0042] By virtue of the component arrangement 10, the sensor 18 can be fastened easily to the carrier element 11 and be at least partially encased.
