Abstract
A solid mounting plate for attaching a magazine carrier, or other accessory, to a holster to provide stability for the mounted accessory while also allowing variable positioning of the accessory carrier with respect to the holster. The mounting plate comprises a plurality of mounting apertures operable to adjust the orientation of the magazine carrier, or accessory, in relation to the holster.
Claims
1. A mounting plate comprising: a plurality of first accessory mounting apertures operable to attach to a first accessory, and a plurality of second accessory mounting apertures operable to attach to a second accessory and form a second accessory angle between the mounting plate and the second accessory, wherein the second accessory mounting apertures are sized and dimensioned to operably adjust the second accessory angle.
2. The mounting plate of claim 1 wherein the second accessory mounting apertures further comprise at least one anchor aperture and at least one adjustable aperture, wherein the anchor aperture and the adjustable aperture of said second accessory mounting apertures are positioned in series.
3. The mounting plate of claim 2 wherein the adjustable aperture has a greater width than the anchor aperture.
4. The mounting plate of claim 1 comprising a first planar surface, a second planar surface, and a middle planar surface, wherein the first planar surface is offset from the second planar surface by an offset angle between the middle planar surface and the horizontal plane of the first planar surface.
5. The mounting plate of claim 1 wherein the second accessory mounting apertures are operable adjust the second accessory angle from 0° to 25°.
6. A mounting plate for mounting a magazine carrier to a holster, said mounting plate comprising: a plurality of mounting apertures adapted to attach to an attachment tab of a holster and an attachment portion of a magazine carrier, wherein the mounting apertures are operable to adjust the orientation of the magazine carrier such that the magazine carrier rotates in relation to the mounting plate to form an accessory angle between the mounting plate and magazine carrier.
7. The mounting plate of claim 6 comprising a first planar surface, a second planar surface, and a middle planar surface, wherein the first planar surface is offset from the second planar surface by an offset angle between the middle planar surface and the horizontal plane of the first planar surface.
8. The mounting plate of claim 6 wherein said mounting apertures comprise at least one anchor aperture and one adjustable aperture.
9. The mounting plate of claim 8 wherein the anchor aperture and the adjustable aperture are positioned in series.
10. The mounting plate of claim 9 wherein the adjustable aperture has a greater width than the anchor aperture.
11. The mounting plate of claim 10 wherein the adjustable aperture and the anchor aperture are operable adjust the accessory angle from 0° to 25°.
12. A mounting plate comprising: a plurality of first accessory mounting apertures operable to attach to a first accessory and form a first accessory angle between the mounting plate and the first accessory, a plurality of second accessory mounting apertures operable to attach to a second accessory and form a second accessory angle between the mounting plate and the second accessory, wherein the first accessory mounting apertures are sized and dimensioned to operably adjust the first accessory angle, and wherein the second accessory mounting apertures are sized and dimensioned to operably adjust the second accessory angle.
13. The mounting plate of claim 12 wherein the anchor aperture and the adjustable aperture of said first accessory mounting apertures are positioned in series.
14. The mounting plate of claim 13 further comprising at least one additional adjustable aperture for said first accessory mounting apertures, wherein said additional adjustable aperture is positioned above said other adjustable aperture such that the adjustable apertures are operable to adjust the first accessory angle between a first position and a second position.
15. The mounting plate of claim 14 wherein the adjustable aperture of said first accessory mounting apertures comprises a height such that the adjustable aperture in series has a greater height than the anchor aperture immediately preceding it.
16. The mounting plate of claim 15 wherein the first accessory mounting apertures are operable adjust the first accessory angle from 0° to 12°.
17. The mounting plate of claim 12 wherein the second accessory mounting apertures further comprise at least one anchor aperture and at least one adjustable aperture, wherein the anchor aperture and the adjustable aperture of said second accessory mounting apertures are positioned in series.
18. The mounting plate of claim 16 wherein the adjustable aperture has a greater width than the anchor aperture.
19. The mounting plate of claim 17 wherein the second accessory mounting apertures are operable adjust the second accessory angle from 0° to 25°.
20. The mounting plate of claim 12 comprising a first planar surface, a second planar surface, and a middle planar surface, wherein the first planar surface is offset from the second planar surface by an offset angle between the middle planar surface and the horizontal plane of the first planar surface.
