Protective Adhesive Finger Strip Booklet Apparatus

Abstract

A protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus for sanitary device operation includes a booklet backing and a plurality of rectangular finger strips coupled to the booklet backing. Each finger strip has a main portion and a tab portion. An adhesive layer is continuously coupled to a main first side of the main portion and a tab second side of the tab portion. The adhesive layer allows a tab second side to adhere to a main second side of the main portion until peeled back by a user for use. Each finger strip is prepared for use by separating the tab portion from the main portion, securing a tab first side of the tab portion to separate the main portion from the booklet, placing the user's fingertip to the main first side of the main portion, and wrapping the main first side of the main portion around the user's finger.

Claims

1. A protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus comprising: a booklet backing having a backing front side, a backing top edge, a backing bottom edge, a backing left edge, and a backing right edge, the booklet backing being planar and dimensioned to fit within a credit card sleeve of a wallet; a plurality of rectangular finger strips coupled to the booklet backing, each finger strip having a main portion and a tab portion, a main length of the main portion extending from the backing top edge to the backing bottom edge, a width of each finger strip being configured for conforming to cover a fingertip of a user's index finger; an adhesive layer coupled to each finger strip, the adhesive layer having a first section being coupled to and fully covering a main first side of the main portion and a second section being coupled to a tab second side of the tab portion, the adhesive layer being sufficiently strong to adhere the main first side to the backing front side of the booklet yet allow for easy removal when the tab portion is pulled, as well as being configured to adhere to the user's fingertip, the adhesive layer allowing the tab second side to adhere to a main second side of the main portion until peeled back for use; and wherein each finger strip is preparable for use by separating the tab portion from the main portion to allow securing a tab first side of the tab portion to separate the main portion from the booklet, wherein each finger strip is configured for placing the user's fingertip to the main first side of the main portion, and configured for wrapping the main first side of the main portion around the user's finger.

3. The protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a tab length of the tab portion being equal to less than one-third of the main length.

4. The protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a disinfectant agent continuously coupled to the main second side of the main portion of each finger strip.

5. The protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the plurality of finger strips being arranged side-by-side and extending from the backing left edge to the backing right edge.

6. The protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the plurality of finger strips being four finger strips.

7. The protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the main first side of the main portion of each finger strip having an X-shaped indicator line positioned opposite the tab portion.

A protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus comprising: a booklet backing having a backing front side, a backing top edge, a backing bottom edge, a backing left edge, and a backing right edge, the booklet backing being planar and dimensioned to fit within a credit card sleeve of a wallet; a plurality of rectangular finger strips coupled to the booklet backing, each finger strip having a main portion and a tab portion, a main length of the main portion extending from the backing top edge to the backing bottom edge, the plurality of finger strips being arranged side-by-side and extending from the backing left edge to the backing right edge, a tab length of the tab portion being equal to less than one-third of the main length, a width of each finger strip being configured for conforming to cover a fingertip of a user's index finger, a main first side of the main portion of each finger strip having an X-shaped indicator line positioned opposite the tab portion; a disinfectant agent continuously coupled to a main second side of the main portion of each finger strip; an adhesive layer coupled to each finger strip, the adhesive layer having a first section being coupled to and fully covering a main first side of the main portion and a second section being coupled to a tab second side of the tab portion, the adhesive layer being sufficiently strong to adhere the main first side to the backing front side of the booklet yet allow for easy removal when the tab portion is pulled, as well as being configured to adhere to the user's fingertip, the adhesive layer allowing the tab second side to adhere to the main second side of the main portion until peeled back for use; wherein each finger strip is prepared for use by separating the tab portion from the main portion to allow securing a tab first side of the tab portion to separate the main portion from the booklet, wherein each finger strip is configured for placing the user's fingertip to the main first side of the main portion, and configured for wrapping the main first side of the main portion around the user's finger.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0019] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 7 thereof, a new finger protection adhesive device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0020] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 7, the protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus 10 generally comprises a booklet backing 12 having a backing front side 14, a backing top edge 16, a backing bottom edge 18, a backing left edge 20, and a backing right edge 22. The booklet backing 12 is dimensioned to fit within a credit card sleeve of a wallet for convenient storage and transport. The booklet backing 12 may have a rigidity up to that of a standard credit card to allow for easier manipulation.

[0021] A plurality of rectangular finger strips 24 is coupled to the booklet backing 12. Each finger strip 24 has a main portion 26 and a tab portion 28. A main length 30 of the main portion 26 extends from the backing top edge 16 to the backing bottom edge 18. The plurality of finger strips 24 may be arranged side-by-side and extends from the backing left edge 20 to the backing right edge 22. A tab length 32 of the tab portion may be equal to less than one-third of the main length 30. A width 34 of each finger strip conforms to cover a fingertip 36 of a user's index finger 38. A main first side 40 of the main portion of each finger strip may have an X-shaped indicator line 42 positioned opposite the tab portion 28.

[0022] A disinfectant agent 44 may be continuously coupled to a main second side 46 of the main portion 26 of each finger strip. An adhesive layer 48 is coupled to each finger strip 24. The adhesive layer 48 is continuously coupled to the main first side 40 of the main portion and a tab second side 50 of the tab portion. The adhesive layer 48 is sufficiently strong to adhere the main first side 40 to the backing front side 14 of the booklet yet allow for easy removal when the tab portion 28 is pulled. The adhesive layer 48 on the main first side 40 then adheres the finger strip 24 to the user's fingertip 36. The adhesive layer 48 allows the tab second side 50 to adhere to the main second side 46 of the main portion until peeled back by a user for use.

[0023] Each finger strip 24 is prepared for use by separating the tab portion 28 from the main portion 26. A tab first side 52 of the tab portion 28 is then secured and pulled to separate the main portion 26 from the booklet 12. The user's fingertip 36 is placed on the X-shaped indicator line 42 on the main first side 40 of the main portion and the main first side 40 of the main portion is wrapped around the user's finger 38.

[0024] In use, the user's finger 38 can operate a dial pad, a button, or a touchscreen without risking contamination. The finger strip 24 can then be removed by securing the tab portion 28 and peeling it from the user's finger 38 before folding the main second side 46 in half and sealing it with the adhesive layer 48 on the tab second side 50.
