(28) The polymer joining ring disclosed herein provides flexible functionality for the bearing during manufacturing process, handling and transportation. The engagement to the flanges and the tapered narrow grooves prevents the first inner ring and the second inner ring from separating. The semi-circular protrusion positioned at the triangular space between the first inner ring and the second inner ring helps in increasing the radial retention force produced in the first inner ring and the second inner ring. The polymer ring is made of polymer materials, as a result, the overall manufacturing cost reduces compared to existing manufacturing methods. Furthermore, the polymer ring facilitates ease in assembling and accurate positioning of the inner rings and align accordingly.
