Abstract
A universal cover for a water mat is provided. The universal cover has a top cover portion and a bottom cover portion that can be secured together with zippers. The bottom cover portion has a plurality of parallel buoyant bars and the top cover portion has metal structures to securely hold magnetic accessories.
Claims
1. A universal cover for a water mat, the universal cover comprising: a top cover having a top zipper on a top periphery; and a bottom cover having a bottom zipper on a bottom periphery, the top zipper and the bottom zipper can be engaged to seal the universal cover, the bottom cover portion has a plurality of parallel buoyant bars.
2. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1 further comprising metal structures sewn onto the top cover allowing secure magnetic accessories to the universal cover.
3. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the water mat is a foam mat.
4. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of parallel buoyant bars distributes weight to prevent the water mat from folding on used on water surface.
5. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of parallel buoyant bars is 6 feet×1.5 to 3 inches×0.25 to 0.75 inches.
6. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1 further comprising one or more velcro secured flaps that allow connecting the water mat with one or more water mats each covered by a universal cover.
7. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a plurality of handles on all sides of the universal cover.
8. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a plurality of handles on all sides of the universal cover and two adjustable ropes connected to one of handles to allow connecting the water mat to a boat.
9. A universal cover as claimed in claim 1 further comprising thin metal discs sewn into a top side of the universal cover.
10. A universal cover for a water mat, the universal cover comprising: a top cover having a top zipper on a top periphery: a bottom cover having a bottom zipper on a bottom periphery, the top zipper and the bottom zipper can be engaged to seal the universal cover; and one or more velcro secured flaps at edges that allow connecting the water mat with one or more water mats such that each water mat is covered by a universal cover.
11. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10 further comprising thin metal discs sewn onto the top cover allowing secure magnetic accessories to the universal cover.
12. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10, wherein the water mat is a foam mat.
13. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10, wherein the plurality of parallel buoyant bars distributes the weight to prevent the water mat from folding on used on water surface.
14. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10 further comprising a plurality of parallel buoyant bars are 6 feet×1.5 to 3 inches×0.25 to 0.75 inches.
15. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10 further comprising a plurality of parallel buoyant bars on the bottom cover.
16. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10 further comprising a plurality of handles on all sides of the universal cover.
17. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10 further comprising a plurality of handles on all sides of the universal cover and two adjustable ropes connected to one of handles to allow connecting the water mat to a boat.
18. A universal cover as claimed in claim 10 further comprising thin metal discs sewn into a top side of the universal cover.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0021] Reference will now be made in detail to selected embodiments of the present disclosure in conjunction with accompanying figures. The embodiments described herein are not intended to limit the scope of the disclosure, and the present disclosure should not be construed as limited to the embodiments described. This disclosure may be embodied in different forms without departing from the scope and spirit of the disclosure. It should be understood that the accompanying figures are intended and provided to illustrate embodiments of the disclosure described below and are not necessarily drawn to scale. In the drawing, like numbers refer to elements throughout, and thicknesses and dimensions of some components may be exaggerated to provide better clarity and ease of understanding.
[0022] It should be noted that the terms “first”, “second”, and the like, herein do not denote any order, ranking, quantity, or importance, but rather are used to distinguish one element from another. Further, the terms “a” and “an” herein do not denote a limitation of quantity, but rather denote the presence of at least one of the referenced items.

[0024] The top cover 100a is shown to include a top cover 105, a first side flap 110 and a second side flap 115. The top cover 100a also has a top zipper 120 on its periphery. Similarly, the bottom cover 100b as a bottom portion 125, a third side flap 130, a fourth side flap 135 and a bottom zipper 140 on its periphery. It will be understood to a person ordinarily skilled in the art that a zipper has two parts and each zipper is arranged in such a way that one part of each zipper is on the top cover 100a and the other part is on the bottom cover 100b.
[0025] The top cover 100a and the bottom cover 100b are zipped together by engaging four zippers together such that a first zip part 120 is engaged with a second zip part 140, a third zip part 120a is engaged with a fourth zip part 180, a fifth zip part 150 is engaged with a sixth zip part 140a and a seventh zip part 160 is engaged with a eighth zip part 170 zip. The top, the bottom and the four sides of a water mat are fully covered by the universal mat.

[0030] Typically the plurality of parallel buoyant bars 505 are 6 feet×1.5 to 3 inches×0.25 to 0.75 inches, but the dimensions may vary depending on the size of the water mat 205. Further, the universal cover 100 may have a plurality of handles 510 on the sides of the universal cover 100. The plurality of handles 510 may also be at the center of the bottom cover 100b (not show in any FIG) to help rolling up the water mat 205. Alternatively, the plurality of handles 510 may be placed at any other location on the bottom cover 100b as long it aids as rolling up of the water mat 205.
[0031] In addition, thin metal discs may be sewn into the top surface of the universal cover 100 at a few locations. It will allow magnetic accessories such as a can holder to stick to the water mat 205.
