DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0088]
[0089] The rolling paper 1 further comprises four folding lines 9A-D extending transversely to the upper edge 5 and the lower edge 6 and located closer to the second side edge 8 than the first side edge 7.
[0090] The upper edge 5 is larger than the lower edge 6. The upper edge 5 comprises an upper curved part 10. The upper edge 5 transitions into the first side edge 7 at an upper corner 11. The lower edge 6 comprises a lower curved part 12. The lower edge 6 transitions into the first side edge 7 at a lower corner 13. The upper corner 11 and the lower corner 13 are formed as a rounded corner 14 and therefore referred to as a rounded upper corner 14A and a rounded lower corner 14B, respectively.
[0091] In other examples of the rolling paper 1, at least one of the lower corner 13 and the upper corner 11 is a rounded corner 14. In said situation, a corner radius R of the rounded corner 14 is at least 0.25 mm, preferably at least 1 mm, and more preferably at least 2 mm. The corner radius R of the rounded corner 14 may be within the range of 0.25-6 mm, preferably within the range of 1-5 mm, and more preferably within the range of 2-4 mm. The rounded corner 14 extends along part of a corner circle 15 having the corner radius R. The corner radius R of the upper corner 11 (see R.sub.UC) and the lower corner 13 (see R.sub.LC) is explained more in detail in relation with
[0092]
[0093] The rounded lower corner 14B has a lower corner radius R.sub.LC of about 2 mm. In other examples, the lower corner radius R.sub.LC is within the range of 1-5 mm, preferably within the range of 1-4 mm.
[0094] The upper corner radius R.sub.UC differs from the lower corner radius R.sub.LC. More specifically, the upper corner radius R.sub.UC is larger than the lower corner radius R.sub.LC. The upper corner radius R.sub.UC is about 2 times larger than the lower corner radius R.sub.LC. In other examples, the upper corner radius R.sub.UC is within the range of 1.1-5 times larger than the lower corner radius R.sub.LC, preferably within the range of 1.5-3 times larger than the lower corner radius R.sub.LC.
[0095] The rounded upper corner 14A extends along part of an upper corner circle 15A having the upper corner 11 radius R.sub.UC. The rounded lower corner 14B extends along part of a lower corner circle 15B having the lower corner radius R.sub.LC.
[0096] The upper curved part 10 and the lower curved part 12 extend parallel to each other. The upper curved part 10 extends along part of an upper edge circle 20 having an upper edge radius R.sub.UE. The lower curved part 12 extends along part of a lower edge circle 21 having a lower edge radius R.sub.LE.
[0097] The upper edge circle 20 and the lower edge circle 21 are concentric. The upper edge circle 20 has an upper edge centre 22, the lower edge circle 21 has a lower edge centre 23, and the upper edge centre 22 and the lower edge centre 23 coincide in a single centre point 24.
[0098] The upper curved part 10 extends along the complete upper edge 5. The lower edge 6 comprises a chamfered part 25 located between the lower curved part 12 and the lower corner 13. The chamfered part 25 extends under an angle α away from the lower curved part 12 and towards the upper edge 5. The angle α is about 20 degrees. In other examples, the angle α is within the range of 5-45 degrees, preferably within the range of 10-30 degrees.
[0099] The chamfered part 25 extends from the lower curved part 12 until the lower corner 13. The lower curved part 12 extends along a remaining edge part 26 of the lower edge 6. The remaining edge part 26 is formed by the rest of the lower edge 6 when the chamfered part 25 is excluded
[0100] The first side edge 7 comprises a first straight part 27 and the second side edge 8 comprises a second straight part 28. The first straight part 27 extends along the complete first side edge 7 and the second straight part 28 extends along the complete second side edge 8. The first straight part 27 and the second straight part 28 extend transversely, such as perpendicular, to the upper edge 5 and the lower edge 6. More specifically, the first straight part 27 and the second straight part 28 extend transversely, such as perpendicular, to the upper curved part 10 and the lower curved part 12.
[0101] A first virtual line 29 extending through the first straight part 27 and a second virtual line 30 extending through the second straight part 28 both extend through the single centre point 24.
[0102] The rolling paper 1 comprises four folding lines 9. In other examples, the rolling paper 1 comprises 1 or 2 or 3 or 5 folding lines 9. Each of the folding lines 9 is straight and extends transversely, such as perpendicular, to the upper edge 5 side and the lower edge 6 side. Each of the folding lines 9 is straight and extends transversely, such as perpendicular, to the upper curved part 10 and the lower curved part 12. Third virtual lines 31 extending through the folding lines 9 also extends through the single centre point 24.
[0103] The folding lines 9 are formed by weakening lines 32 in the paper body 4. The weakening lines 32 are formed by discontinuous perforation 33 in the paper body 4. In other examples, the weakening lines 32 are formed by one or more incisions in the paper body 4.
[0104] The paper body 4 is made from a paper having a weight of about 135 gram/meter.sup.2. In other examples, the paper body 4 is made from a paper having a weight within the range of 95-175 gram/meter.sup.2, preferable within the range of 120-150 gram/meter.sup.2.
[0105] The
[0106] Due to the fact that the lower corner 13 and the upper corner 11 are a rounded corner 14, the risk is reduced that the lower corner 13 or the upper corner 11 will damage a tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41 when the tapered filter tip 2 is moved inside said tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41.
[0107] The
[0108] In
[0109] The method comprises placing the tapered filter tip 2 in a wide opening 43 of the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41, and moving the filter tip 2 inside the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41 from the wide opening 43 into a position adjacent to an opposite narrow opening 44 of said tapered hollow cylinder 40.
[0110] In
[0111] The method comprises rotating the tapered filter tip 2 around the longitudinal tip axis 38 when moving the filter tip 2 inside the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41.
[0112] The method comprises rotating the tapered filter tip 2 in a same direction as the spiral configuration 36 is rolled. The rotation direction of the spiral configuration 36 is indicated by rotation arrow 46. The rotation direction of the tapered filter tip 2 is indicated by rotation arrow 47.
[0113] The method comprises moving the tapered filter tip 2 inside the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41 while keeping the lower edge 6 of the filter tip 2 directed to the narrow opening 44 of said tapered hollow cylinder 40.
[0114] In
[0115] The result of the method is an assembly 42 comprising the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41 and the tapered filter tip 2, wherein the tapered filter tip 2 is located inside the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41. The tapered filter tip 2 is located in a position adjacent to the narrow opening 44 of said tapered hollow cylinder 40.
[0116] The rounded corners 14 of the tapered filter tip 2 reduce the risk that the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41 is damaged when the method is used.
[0117] In addition, said method allows that the production of assemblies 42 comprising the tapered hollow cylinder 40 made of cigarette paper 41 and the tapered filter tip 2 can be automated, due to which the production time of said assemblies 42 can be reduced.
