Abstract
A foldable electric bed includes a first bed frame having top and bottom edges at first imaginary top and bottom surfaces respectively, and a second bed frame having top and bottom edges at second imaginary top and bottom surfaces respectively. A first fixation frame of the first bed frame has a bottom portion with two first longitudinal rods pivotally connected at outer lateral sides of two second longitudinal rods provided at a bottom portion of a second fixation frame of the second bed frame in a way that the first imaginary bottom surface is located between the second imaginary top and bottom surfaces and an overall height of the electric bed is less than a sum of the heights of the first and second bed frames when the electric bed is folded.
As such, the folded electric bed has a reduced volume, facilitating transportation and storage.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0019] The structure and technical features of the present invention will be detailedly described hereunder by two embodiments and accompany drawings. As shown in
[0020] Referring to
[0021] As shown in
[0022] The first fixation frame 11 of the first bed frame 1 of the foldable electric bed 100 of the present invention includes at least one first pivot hole, and the second fixation frame 21 of the second bed frame 2 includes at least one second pivot hole. The electric bed 100 further comprises at least one pivot shaft inserted through the first pivot hole and the second pivot hole in a way that the first bed frame 1 is rotatable relative to the second bed frame 2 about the pivot shaft, such that the electric bed 1 is foldable. In the first embodiment of the present invention, the first fixation frame 11 has, but not limited to, two first pivot holes 111 and 111a (the reference numeral 111a denoting a first pivot hole is not shown in
[0023] Referring to
[0024] The electric bed 100 further comprises two pivot shafts 3 and 3a arranged along a first imaginary axis X1 in a way that the pivot shaft 3 is inserted through the first pivot hole 111 and the second pivot hole 211, and the pivot shaft 3a is inserted through the first pivot hole 111a and the second pivot hole 211a. By means of the arrangement of the pivot shafts 3 and 3a, the first fixation frame 11 is pivotally connected with the second fixation frame 21, such that the first bed frame 1 can be rotated relative to the second bed frame 2 about the two pivot shafts 3 and 3a, i.e. the first imaginary axis X1 serves as the pivotal axis. As a result, the electric bed 100 can be folded.
[0025] However, it to be understood that the structures of the first and second fixation frames 11 and 21 may have various modifications, and are not limited to the disclosure of the above-mentioned first embodiment.
[0026] Referring to
[0027]
[0028] Based on the technical features of the present invention, various modifications to the structure of the foldable electric bed 100 may be made. For example,
[0029] In the second embodiment of the present invention, the first fixation frame 11′ of the first bed frame 1′ is provided at a top portion thereof with a first support rack 113′ having a front end pivotally connected with a rear end of the first movable frame 12′. The first fixation frame 11′ is provided at a bottom portion thereof with two first longitudinal rods 112′ and 112a′, which are connected with the first support rack 113′ via two first connection portions 114 and 114a. The two first pivot holes 111′ (only one reference number denoting the first pivot hole is depicted in the drawings due to the viewing angle of the drawings) are provided at the two first connection portions 114 and 114a, respectively. The second fixation frame 21′ of the second bed frame 2′ is provided at a top portion thereof with a second support rack 213′ having a rear end pivotally connected with a front end of the second movable frame 22′. The second fixation frame 21′ is provided at a bottom portion thereof with two second longitudinal rods 212′ and 212a′, which are connected with the second support rack 213′ via two second connection portions 214 and 214a. The two second pivot holes 211a′ (only one reference number denoting the second pivot hole is depicted in the drawings due to the viewing angle of the drawings) are provided at the two second connection portions 214 an1d 214a, respectively. It is worth mentioning that a distance between each of the two first pivot holes 111′ (only one reference number denoting the first pivot hole is depicted in the drawings due to the viewing angle of the drawings) and the first imaginary top surface S1′ will be greater than a distance between each of the two first pivot hole 111′ and the first imaginary bottom surface S2′. The electric bed 200 includes two pivot shafts 3′ and 3a′, which are arranged along a second imaginary axis X2, such that the first fixation frame 11′ is pivotally connected with the second fixation frame 21′.
[0030] As shown in
[0031] Referring to
[0032] In view of the above, compared to conventional foldable electric bed, the foldable electric bed 100 or 200 of the present invention has the effects of reduced volume and convenient transportation and storage.
[0033] The invention being thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
