DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0026] Before the disclosure is described in greater detail, it should be noted that where considered appropriate, reference numerals or terminal portions of reference numerals have been repeated among the figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements, which may optionally have similar characteristics.
[0027] As shown in
[0028] The bottom wall 2 is round-shaped, and has a plurality of apertures 200 formed by a processing laser (L) (see
[0029] If each of the apertures 200 is a round hole, it will easily be blocked by a coffee ground particle that has a diameter greater than that of the aperture 200. As shown in

[0033]
[0034] In the forming step 61, a lathe is used to machine a single piece of metal raw material to form a semi-finished product 60. Because the structure of the piece of metal raw material is not bent or otherwise deformed during the formation of the semi-finished product 60, the overall structural strength will be increased significantly. Moreover, the semi-finished product 60 being formed using a lathe may have different thicknesses in different parts thereof so as to bear the high pressure of the hot water during the coffee-brewing process. The semi-finished product 60 has a round-shaped non-porous bottom wall 2′, a peripheral wall 3 extending from a periphery of the non-porous bottom wall 2′ in an upward direction to cooperate with the non-porous bottom wall 2′ to define a brewing space (W), and an annular positioning ring 4 extending radially and outwardly from a top end of the peripheral wall 3. The non-porous bottom wall 2′ has a thickness ranging from 0.7 mm to 0.15 mm so as to bear the high pressure of the hot water during the coffee-brewing process. In this embodiment, the thickness of the non-porous bottom wall 2′ is 0.75 mm.
[0035] Referring to
[0036] In the laser processing step 62, the processing laser (L) is applied to specific locations of the bottom plate 2 to form the apertures 200. For example, as shown in
[0037] Referring back to
[0038] Referring to
[0039] To summarize, since the apertures 200 of the coffee powder filter cup according to the disclosure are formed by the processing laser (L), limitations of the apertures, such as the diameter, density, number of the apertures and the thickness of the bottom plate, in the conventional coffee powder filter cup formed by the punch die can be reduced.. Additionally, each aperture 200 has a good finishing quality and is elongated, which can lower the risk of fine powder clogging during brewing and make it simpler to clean, ensuring that the selected specifications can truly provide the anticipated flow resistance. As a result, the risk of accidental over-extraction can be greatly decreased, and coffee's brewing quality and flavor can be effectively improved. In light of this, the object of the present disclosure can be successfully accomplished.
[0040] In the description above, for the purposes of explanation, numerous specific details have been set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiment(s). It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art, that one or more other embodiments may be practiced without some of these specific details. It should also be appreciated that reference throughout this specification to “one embodiment,” “an embodiment,” an embodiment with an indication of an ordinal number and so forth means that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic may be included in the practice of the disclosure. It should be further appreciated that in the description, various features are sometimes grouped together in a single embodiment, figure, or description thereof for the purpose of streamlining the disclosure and aiding in the understanding of various inventive aspects; such does not mean that every one of these features needs to be practiced with the presence of all the other features. In other words, in any described embodiment, when implementation of one or more features or specific details does not affect implementation of another one or more features or specific details, said one or more features may be singled out and practiced alone without said another one or more features or specific details. It should be further noted that one or more features or specific details from one embodiment may be practiced together with one or more features or specific details from another embodiment, where appropriate, in the practice of the disclosure.
