    Abstract

    The present invention provides a system and apparatus for maze board game comprising: a solid first layer base with smooth surface, a second layer permanently fixed to first solid base layer providing a construction or groove in which rings can be housed within, a third layer consisting decorative fixture with game elements that is permanently fixed to second layer, a set of plurality of turntable rings that fit neatly inside one another and can be independently turned or spun inside the construct of first layer. Each turntable ring has a small rod attached to that can be used to turn the turntable rings. In an embodiment of the present invention, the game player has to start pawn from the container located at the corner of square shaped maze board, make the pawn travel from corner to center through dynamically changing labyrinth, and change the configuration while playing by moving the turnable ring in clockwise or anticlockwise direction by required number of spaces thus providing new labyrinth configuration with rearranged vertical walls to game player.

    Claims

    1. A maze board game system comprising: a solid base first layer; a second layer; a third layer; plurality of turnable rings; a spindle on each turnable ring; plurality of vertical walls on random places of each turnable ring; container at corners of the said maze board; and a pawn or game playing piece

    2. A maze board game apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the solid base first layer is a smooth surface layer and the second layer is permanently affixed to solid base first layer providing a construction or groove for plurality of turnable rings to be housed within.

    3. A maze board game apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the third layer consists of decorative fixture with game elements that can be permanently affixed upon the second layer.

    4. A maze board game apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the size of a turnable ring is configured to fit inside the structure of other bigger turnable ring and can be independently turned or spun inside the construct of second layer.

    5. A maze board game apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the surface of turnable ring is provided printed lines or straight grooves in a manner so as to create spaces for the pawns to move to and from on the turnable rings of the maze board.

    6. A maze board game apparatus according to claim 1 wherein vertical walls are affixed on the surface to form up a maze or labyrinth around which the pawns has to navigated by game player.

    7. A maze board game apparatus according to claim 1 wherein each turnable ring has a small rod or spindle disposed perpendicularly on the surface to facilitate turning while playing the game.

    8. A method to play maze board game apparatus wherein the steps comprise: starting pawn from the container located at the corner of square shaped maze board; making the pawn travel from corner to center through dynamically changing labyrinth; changing the configuration while playing by moving the turnable ring in clockwise or anticlockwise direction by required number of spaces thus providing new labyrinth configuration with rearranged vertical walls to game player.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

    [0018] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIG. 1 to FIG. 5 thereof, a new maze board game embodying the principles and concepts of the present invention is described.

As shown in the figure, the raised portion or vertical wall may be of any shape including but not limited to bar shape 403 or L-shape 404. When the rings are turned using spindle 108 it changes the configuration of maze and provide the maze game player a new labyrinth to travel the pawn.
