Abstract
A liquid laundry detergent composition comprising C18 alkyl ether sulphate and/or C18 alcohol ethoxylate and from 0.01 to 10% wt. fragrance.
Claims
1. A liquid laundry detergent composition comprising from 5 to 20% wt. non-ionic surfactant, said non-ionic surfactant comprising alcohol ethoxylate, and wherein the alcohol ethoxylate comprises C12-C16 and C18 alcohol ethoxylate, wherein at least 10% wt. of the total alcohol ethoxylate comprises C18 alcohol ethoxylate, and from 0.01 to 10% wt. fragrance, wherein the fragrance comprises a component selected from the groups consisting of ethyl-2-methyl valerate (manzanate), limonene, dihyro myrcenol, dimethyl benzyl carbonate acetate, benzyl acetate, geraniol, methyl nonyl acetaldehyde, cyclacet (verdyl acetate), cyclamal, beta ionone, hexyl salicylate, tonalid, phenafleur, octahydrotetramethyl acetophenone (OTNE) and mixtures thereof.
2. A composition according to claim 1 wherein said C18 alcohol ethoxylate surfactant comprises monounsaturated C18.
3. A composition according to claim 1 comprising from 0.1 to 30% wt. of the composition C18 alcohol ethoxylate.
4. A composition according to claim 1 comprising at least 50% wt. water.
5. A composition according to claim 1 wherein at least 30% wt of the total C18 surfactant is a C18 alcohol ethoxylate.
6. A composition according to claim 1 comprising from 4 to 30 wt % total surfactant.
7. A composition according to claim 1 having a pH of 5 to 10, more preferably 6 to 8, most preferably 6.1 to 7.0.
8. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the fragrance comprises from 0.5 to 3% wt. of the composition.

EXAMPLES
[0245] Laundry liquid compositions comprising C12 (control) were compared with compositions comprising C18 based anionic surfactant instead, all other ingredients were identical.
[0246] The fragrance headspace was measured using GC.
