Abstract
A helium balloon harness assembly includes a net that is comprised of a plurality of interlocking members. The interlocking members are arranged to curve outwardly from a central axis of the net such that the net has a bulbous shape thereby facilitating the net to accommodate a helium balloon such that the net is lifted by the helium balloon. A harness is coupled to and extends downwardly from the net and a basket is coupled to the harness such that the basket is spaced downwardly from the net. A plurality of figurines is provided and each of the figurines has an equal weight with respect to each other. A selected number of the figurines is positionable in the basket to determine the lift force of the helium balloon.

(J) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
[0018] As best illustrated in
[0019] A harness 22 is provided and the harness 22 is coupled to and extends downwardly from the net 12. The harness 22 comprises a plurality of first lanyards 24 that each has an upper end 26 and a lower end 28. The upper end 26 of each of the first lanyards 24 is coupled to the bottom end 20 of the net 12 and the first lanyards 24 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed around the bottom end 20. The harness 22 includes a ring 30 that is coupled to the bottom end of each of the first lanyards 24. The ring 30 has a diameter that is less than a diameter of the bottom end of the net 12 such that each of the first lanyards 24 angles inwardly between the bottom end of the net 12 and the ring 30. The harness 22 includes a plurality of second lanyards 32 that each has an upper end 31 and a lower end 33. The upper end 31 of each of the second lanyards 32 is coupled to the ring 30 such that each of the second lanyards 32 extends downwardly from the ring 30. Additionally, the second lanyards 32 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed around the ring 30.
[0020] A basket 34 coupled to the harness 22 such that the basket 34 is spaced downwardly from the net 12. The basket 34 has a bottom wall 36 and an outer wall 38 extending upwardly from the bottom wall 36, and the outer wall 38 has a distal edge 40 with respect to the bottom wall 36 to define an opening 42 into the basket 34. The lower end 33 of each of the second lanyards 32 is coupled to the distal edge 40 of the basket 34 such that the basket 34 is suspended from the net 12. The outer wall 38 of the basket 34 has a plurality of intersecting sides 44 such that the basket 34 has a rectangular shape. Furthermore, each of the intersecting sides 44 may have a width ranging between approximately 7.0 cm and 12.0 cm and a height ranging between approximately 7.0 cm and 12.0 cm. Furthermore, the lower end 33 of each of the second lanyards is positioned on a respective one of four corners 45 of the outer wall 38 of the basket 34.
[0021] A plurality of figurines 46 is provided and each of the figurines 46 has an equal weight with respect to each other. A selected number of the figurines 46 is positionable in the basket 34 to determine the lift force of the helium balloon 16. Each of the figurines 46 has a base 48 and a mannequin 50, and the mannequin 50 associated with each of the figurines 46 has a pair of feet 52, a torso 54 and a head 56. Each of the feet 52 of the mannequin 50 associated with each of the figurines 46 is coupled to a top surface 58 of the base 48 such that the mannequin 50 associated with a respective figurine 46 extends upwardly from the base 48 associated with the respective figurine 46. A bottom surface 60 of the base 48 associated with a respective figurine 46 rests on the bottom wall 36 of the basket 34 thereby facilitating the mannequin 50 associated with the respective figurine 46 to stand in the basket 34. Moreover, each of the figurines 46 has a weight of 1.0 gram thereby facilitating the lift force of the helium balloon 16 to be measured in grams resulting from the number of figurines 46 required to be placed in the basket 34 to facilitate the basket 34 to be stationary.
[0022] In use, the helium balloon 16 is positioned in the net 12 thereby facilitating the helium balloon 16 to lift the basket 34. Figurines 46 are continually placed in the basket 34 until the basket 34 neither rises nor descends. In this way the lift force of the helium balloon 16 can be calculated by adding the total weight of the figurines 46 that are placed in the basket 34. Furthermore, different sizes of helium balloons 16 can be positioned in the net 12 to facilitate the lift force of each of the different sizes of helium balloons 16 to be calculated.
[0023] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0024] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
