    Abstract

A towel (1) comprises at least one inner region (10) protected from the outside, at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) of which at least one inner region is made of a material for drying body parts, the region (10) being accessible by means of at least one reversible closure means (11) for drying body parts by means of the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″). The towel (1) is characterized in that the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) is water-tight toward the exterior (101) of the region (10).

    Claims

    1.-11. (canceled)

    12. A towel (1), comprising: a protected area (10) lying on an inside and protected from the outside, wherein at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) of the protected area (10) is made of a material for drying body parts, wherein the protected area (10) for drying body parts is accessible by the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″), wherein the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) of the towel (1) is water-tight towards the outside (101) of the protected area (10), wherein the protected area (10) is formed by at least one watertight connection (12) from a folded area of the towel (1) or is connected to the material of the towel (1) and formed by laterally and longitudinally aligned connections (12) from the towel (1), wherein either a) the inner surface (100′, 100″) comprises a deep weave so that the protected area becomes thinner and/or b) the protected area (10) has at least one reversible closure means (11) and a grammage of a non-waterproof fabric in the protected area (10) of the towel (1) in relation to a fabric of the remaining area (13) of the towel (1) is reduced by a weight of the at least one reversible closure means (11) and the weight of a waterproof material.

    13. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the towel comprises a high/low weave.

    14. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the grammage of the non-waterproof fabric in the protected area (10) is reduced by the weight of seams at the connections (12).

    15. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the grammage of the non-waterproof fabric in the remaining area (13) of the towel (1) in relation to the non-waterproof fabric in the protected area (10) of the towel (1) is increased by the weight of the at least one reversible closure means (11) and by the weight of the waterproof material.

    16. The towel (1) according to claim 15, wherein the grammage of the non-waterproof fabric in area (13) is additionally increased by the weight of seams at the connections (12).

    17. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the protected area (10) has at least one closure means (11) on its open side (102) and openings (1030) on side edges (103′, 103″) of the protected area (10), by which at least partial grasping with hands (2) is enabled and the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) of the protected area (10) can thereby be folded outwards.

    18. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) is formed from one or more materials that are waterproof on one side and soft and/or fluffy on the opposite side.

    19. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the at least one inner surface (100′, 100″) is formed from an anti-bacterial material and/or has an antibacterial coating.

    20. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the at least one reversible closure means (12) is watertight.

    21. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the connections are made by a seam that is watertight.

    22. The towel (1) according to claim 12, wherein the closure means (11) is a zipper.

    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0013] FIG. 1 shows the towel with area in a preferred embodiment.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0014] As shown in FIG. 1, the towel 1 comprises an area 10 lying inwards and protected from the outside. Two inner surfaces 100′, 100″ of the area 10 are accessible at the area opening 102 via a reversible closure means 11 in the form of a zipper.

[0015] In the present exemplary embodiment, the protected area 10 is formed from a folded area of the towel 1 by at least one watertight connection 12. It also being possible for the area to be connected to the material of the towel 1 by at least one watertight connection 12. Most preferably, the connection 12 is formed by a seam that is watertight.

[0016] In addition, it is also advantageous to design any closure means (e.g. the zipper, Velcro, etc.) to be waterproof.

[0017] Furthermore, FIG. 1 shows that the area 10 is formed from connections 12 aligned laterally and longitudinally on the towel, the area 10 having at least one closure means 11 on its open side 102, preferably in the form of a zipper.

[0018] Openings 1030 are provided on the side edges 103′, 103″ of the area 10, by means of which the hands 2 can be at least partially reach through and the at least one inner surface 100′, 100″ of the area 10 can thereby be folded outwards.

[0019] The design of the towel 1 is not limited to the preferred embodiments specified above. Rather, a large number of design variations are conceivable which make use of the solution shown even with a fundamentally different design.
