Abstract
A system and method of and for removably securing a cloth or towel to a magnetically cohesive surface using a permanent magnet attached to and/or integrated into the cloth or towel. Preferably, the magnet is a disc magnet encased in a plastic or silicone rubber housing integrated or affixed into or upon a cloth or towel. A magnetic golf towel comprising a moisture absorbent material; and a magnet, wherein the magnet is connected to the moisture absorbent material, and wherein the magnet is configured to be attached to a golf club, so that the magnetic golf towel can be picked up via the golf club. A method for picking up a magnetic golf towel comprising providing the magnetic golf towel and using a golf club to magnetically attach to the magnet of the golf towel, thereby allowing a user to pick up the magnetic golf towel.
Claims
1. A magnetic golf towel comprising: a moisture absorbent material; and a disc shaped permanent magnet fully encased within an air and water impervious plastic, polymer, or silicone rubber housing, wherein the housing is configured to be and is sown via thread onto the moisture absorbent material, and wherein the housing via the magnet is configured to be removably and magnetically attracted and attached to a golf club, so that the magnetic golf towel can be retrieved to a hand of a user from the ground or other surface using the golf club.

7. The towel of claim 1, wherein the towel is rectangular or square.
8. The towel of claim 1, wherein the moisture absorbent material is made from microfibers.
9. The towel of claim 1, wherein the moisture absorbent material is made from cotton and/or polyester.
10. A method for retrieving a magnetic golf towel to a hand of a user from the ground or other surface, the method comprising the steps of: providing the magnetic golf towel of claim 1; and using a golf club to magnetically attract and attach to the magnet encased in the housing of the golf towel, thereby allowing a user to retrieve the magnetic golf towel to a hand of the user.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein a user is able to retrieve the magnetic golf towel from the ground without having to bend-over from a standing position.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0048] As depicted in Prior Art
[0049] As depicted in
[0050] As can be appreciated comparing the two magnetic fields; a disc magnet (300) produces a magnetic flux density field (100) of a superior density and surface area as compared to a bar or rod magnet (200).
[0051] Although a bar or rod magnet (200) depending on its inherent magnetic flux field density may be adequate to magnetically support the weight of a cloth or towel; a disc magnet (300) is preferred for embodiments of this instant invention (400).
[0052] As depicted in
[0053] As depicted in
[0054] As depicted in
[0055] As depicted in
[0056] An intent and purpose of including a disc magnet (300) in a plastic or rubber silicone housing (410) is to allow a system (400) user to know at all times were the disc magnet (300) is; and thus, facilitate a system (400) user's safe and effective use of the cloth or towel (510).
[0057] It is contemplated that in instant invention may be used in many fields of endeavors, in daily life at home, used in athletics and sports, in industry, science, and medicine.
[0058] In household and commercial kitchens, the instant inventive system and method may be used to removably secure a cloth or towel to an oven door, or overhead ventilation hood, or refrigerator side or door; or at any suitable and desired magnetic cohesive surface.
[0059] A machinist may hang a “shop rag”, using the instant invention, nearby and at various heights and safely away from rotating equipment.
[0060] A mechanic may hang a “shop rag”, using the instant invention, removably from the open hood of an automobile, at the undercarriage of a vehicle, or at an aircraft open engine cowling—or again—at any suitable and desired magnetic cohesive surface.
[0061] It is contemplated that the instant invention may be used by golfer to keep a towel at hand—removably secured to a magnetic flux cohesive portion of a golf bag, and/or golf cart and the like. It is also contemplated that the instant inventive method and system may be used retrieve a towel or rag from the ground or other “remote” location using a golf club, a tennis racket, or other metallic portion of such a similar object.
[0062] Utilizing the inventive system and method, a golfer instead of using a golf club a crutch to bend over and retrieve a towel from the ground; a golfer may now use a golf club to stand erect and retrieve an inventive cloth or towel.
[0063] Similarly, it is contemplated that persons of limited mobility and having difficulty bending; may in like manner to a golfer, utilize the inventive system and method with an object similar to a golf club to retrieve an inventive cloth or towel. Moreover, persons with limited mobility may use the instant invention with walkers or wheelchairs, and the like.
[0064] It is also contemplated that the instant inventive system and method during personal hygiene such as during bathing, showering, at the bathroom water basin, and the like.
[0065] As may be appreciated, the instant inventive system and method may be used in an almost unlimited number of industrial, scientific, medical uses; as well as athletic, leisure and other endeavors.
[0066] Having thus described several embodiments for practicing the inventive method, its advantages and objectives can be easily understood. Variations from the description above may and can be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention.
[0067] Accordingly, this invention is not to be limited by the embodiments as described, which are given by way of example only and not by way of limitation.
