Abstract
The present invention discloses a protective bib that protects a user from coming in contact with high temperature materials such as boiled water. The cape is made up of a heat resistant material with size and shape configured to cover the user's shoulders and back when worn. In an embodiment of the present invention, the Velcro strip attached along edge of flap can be used to tuck the flap around user's neck using a snap button or any other kind of fastener or clasp. In an embodiment of the present invention, the bib may involve attaching an extension to the edge of the two flaps which may be a chain, clasp, or any other kind of fastener or closure to facilitate easy removal from the user.
Claims
1. A protective bib to protect a user from heat related injury and high temperature liquids wherein said bib is made of heat resistant material including an opening for neck with a flap on each side configured with attachment to secure it around a user's neck.
2. The bib according to claim 1 wherein said attachment means are Velcro strip.
3. The bib according to claim 1 wherein the attachment means is a snap button.
4. The bib of claim 1 further including a cover made of soft and flexible material attached around the opening.
5. The bib of claim 1 wherein the cape design can accommodate including but not limited to working, logos or drawings.
