Abstract
Various embodiments of hygienic disposable sheet wraps for writing utensils are disclosed. A hygienic disposable sheet wrap may include a rectangular sheet of material, which may include an adhesive on at least one side thereof. A hygienic disposable sheet wraps may be perforated to define edges of separable single wrap sections. The perforations may include arcuate sections that may define a tab associated with each single wrap section. A hygienic disposable sheet wrap may be wrapped around a writing utensil. An outer single wrap section may be peeled away from the underlying portion of the rectangular sheet of material to which it may be adhered. This may be done by grasping and pulling the outer single wrap section. An outer single wrap section may be separated from an adjoining single wrap section by applying a pulling force to tear the perforations adjoining the two single wrap sections.

[0017] While the inventions will be described in connection with the preferred embodiments, it will be understood that the scope of protection is not intended to limit the inventions to those embodiments. On the contrary, the scope of protection is intended to cover all alternatives, modifications, and equivalents as may be included within the spirit and scope of the inventions as defined by the appended claims.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0018] Referring to the drawings in detail, wherein like numerals denote identical elements throughout the several views, and referring initially to
[0019] In a specific embodiment, the hygienic disposable sheet 10 may comprise a plurality of single wrap sections 12, 14, and 16. As more fully discussed below, the shape of the first or left-most single wrap section 12 is different than the successive single wrap sections 14 and 16. In addition, it is noted that
[0020] In a specific embodiment, the right perforated edge 24 may include an upper perforated section 26 extending downwardly from the upper linear/straight edge 20, a lower perforated section 28 extending upwardly from the lower linear/straight edge 22, and a curved perforated section 30 disposed between the upper perforated section 26 and the lower perforated section 28. In a specific embodiment, the curved perforated section 30 may define a tab 32, the purpose of which will be explained below.
[0021] In a specific embodiment, the upper perforated section 26 and the lower perforated section 28 may be generally parallel to the left linear/straight edge 18. In a specific embodiment, the upper perforated section 26 may be disposed in generally perpendicular relationship to the upper linear/straight edge 20. In a specific embodiment, the lower perforated section 28 may be disposed in generally perpendicular relationship to the lower linear/straight edge 22. In a specific embodiment, the upper perforated section 26 may be spaced apart from the left edge 18 by a distance B. In a specific embodiment, the lower perforated section 28 may be spaced apart from the left edge 18 by the distance B. In a specific embodiment, the distance B may be in the range of 1 to 1.5 inches.
[0022] In a specific embodiment, the curved perforated section 30 may be in the form of an arc having an apex 34. In a specific embodiment, the distance between the apex 34 of the curved perforated section 30 and the left edge 18 may be greater than the distance B between the left edge 18, on the one hand, and the upper and lower perforated sections 26 and 28, on the other hand. In a specific embodiment, the apex 34 may be generally centered along the right perforated edge 24. In a specific embodiment, the apex 34 may be located generally equidistant between the upper edge 20 and the lower edge 22. In a specific embodiment, an upper end of the curved perforated section 30 may join to a lower end of the upper perforated section 26. In a specific embodiment, a lower end of the curved perforated section 30 may join to an upper end of the lower perforated section 28.
[0023] Having described the left-most single wrap section 12, each of the successive single wrap sections 14 and 16 to the right of the left-most single wrap section 12 will now be described. It is noted that an example of a single wrap section 14/16 is shown by itself in
[0024] Referring to
[0025] In a specific embodiment, the left perforated edge 36 may include an upper left perforated section 44, a lower left perforated section 46, and a left arcuate perforated section 48 disposed between and joining the upper left perforated section 44 and the lower left perforated section 46. In a specific embodiment, the left arcuate perforated section 48 may extend inwardly from the upper left perforated section 44 and the lower left perforated section 46 to form a concave indention 49 along the left side of the successive single wrap section 14/16.
[0026] In a specific embodiment, the right perforated edge 38 may include an upper right perforated section 50, a lower right perforated section 52, and a right arcuate perforated section 54 disposed between and joining the upper right perforated section 50 and the lower right perforated section 52. In a specific embodiment, the right arcuate perforated section 54 may extend outwardly from the upper right perforated section 50 and the lower right perforated section 52 to form a convex tab 56 along the right side of the successive single wrap section 14/16. It is noted that the present inventions are not intended to be limited to any particular shape of tabs 32 or 56, but instead the present inventions are intended to encompass tabs 32/56 of any shape.
