MULTI-FITTING ACCESSORY DEVICE

Abstract

A multi-fitting accessory device including a ring fitting, a device mount, an anchor clip fitting, and at least one removable cord. The ring fitting is affixed to a rear surface of a device mount and is configured to attach to a first object. The device mount is configured to attach to an accessory. The anchor clip fitting is affixed to a rear surface of the device mount. The anchor clip fitting is configured to attach to a removable cord. The at least one removable cord having a pair of connectors attached to each end of the removable cord, wherein one of the connectors is attached to the anchor clip fitting and the other connector is attached to a second object.

Claims

1. A multi-fitting accessory device comprising: a ring fitting affixed to a rear surface of a device mount, the ring fitting is configured to attach to a first object, and the device mount is configured to attach to an accessory; an anchor clip fitting affixed to a rear surface of the device mount, the anchor clip fitting is configured to attach to a removable cord; and at least one removable cord having a pair of connectors attached to each end of the removable cord, wherein one of the connectors is attached to the anchor clip fitting and the other connector is attached to a second object.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the accessory is a mobile device.

3. The device of claim 1, wherein the accessory is a mobile device casing.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein the device mount includes a sticky adhesive on its rear surface to attach the device mount to the accessory.

5. The device of claim 1, wherein the first object is a finger.

6. The device of claim 1, wherein the second object is a belt loop.

7. The device of claim 1, wherein the second object is a purse.

8. The device of claim 1, wherein the at least one removable cord is a metal chain cord.

9. The device of claim 1, wherein the at least one removable cord is a bungee cord.

10. The device of claim 1, wherein the at least one removable cord is a rope shaped cord.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0009] Exemplary embodiments disclosed herein describe a multi-fitting accessory device including a ring fitting, a device mount, an anchor clip fitting, and at least one removable cord. The ring fitting is affixed to a rear surface of a device mount and is configured to attach to a first object. The device mount is configured to attach to an accessory. The anchor clip fitting is affixed to a rear surface of the device mount. The anchor clip fitting is configured to attach to a removable cord. The at least one removable cord having a pair of connectors attached to each end of the removable cord, wherein one of the connectors is attached to the anchor clip fitting and the other connector is attached to a second object.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0019] The present disclosure relates to a multi-fitting accessory device (“the device”). The device attaches to an accessory/gadget (e.g., a mobile device) and then the device may be attached to one or more objects (e.g., a finger, belt, or purse) by way of one or more fittings to anchor the accessory/gadget to the object to prevent the accessory/gadget from falling on the ground thereby preventing damage thereto. The device 10 includes multiple fittings (e.g., a ring fitting 10a, a lasso loop 10b, a phone case anchor 10c, a waist line clip 10d) for attachment to an object.

[0020] Turning to FIG. 1, the device 10a may include a device mount 12, a ring fitting 14, and an anchor clip fitting 18. The device mount 12 attaches to an accessory/gadget, and thereby attaches the accessory/gadget to the device 10a. The rear surface of the device mount may include an adhesive to affix the device mount to the accessory/gadget. The adhesive may include a sticky back or any other suitable adhesive material to create a permanent connection between the accessory/gadget and the device. The device mount may be configured in any suitable size. Moreover, the device mount 12 may be made from any suitable material.

[0021] The ring fitting 14 may include a metal ring or a ring made from any other suitable material. The ring fitting is configured to attach to a first object, such as, for example, a finger. The ring fitting may be affixed to the rear surface of the device mount 12 by any suitable means, such as, for example, fasteners or adhesives. The anchor clip fitting 18 is attached to the rear surface of device mount 12. The anchor clip fitting may be affixed to the rear surface of the device mount 12 by any suitable means, such as, for example, fasteners or adhesives. The anchor clip fitting 18 is configured to attached to at least one removable cord 20, (shown in FIG. 2), which may be connected to a second object (e.g., a belt loop or purse).

[0022] The at least one removable cord 20 has a pair of connectors attached to each end of the removable cord, and one of the connectors is attached to the anchor clip fitting 18 and the other connector is attached to a second object (e.g., a belt, purse, etc.). Moreover, the at least one removable cord may be implemented as a metal chain 20a, bungee cord 20b, or a rope shaped chain 20c.

[0023] In another exemplary embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the device 10b includes a lasso cord fitting 25, a tightener 27 and an anchor ring fitting 29. The lasso cord fitting 25 may be attached to an accessory/gadget (e.g., a mobile device or a mobile device casing). The anchor ring fitting 29 may be configured to attached to at least one removable cord 20, which is attached to another object (e.g., a belt loop or purse). The tightener 27 widens and narrows the lasso cord fitting 25 to a suitable size for secure attachment to the accessory/gadget.

[0024] In another exemplary embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the device 10c includes a phone case anchor 30 including an anchor clip 32. The phone case anchor 30 attaches to an accessory/gadget (e.g., mobile device), and thereby attaches the accessory/gadget to the device 10c. The rear surface of the phone case anchor may include an adhesive to affix the phone case anchor to the accessory/gadget. The adhesive may include a sticky back or any other suitable adhesive material to create a permanent connection between the accessory/gadget and the device. In a preferred embodiment, the phone case anchor 30 attaches directly to a rear surface of a mobile device 33 and the mobile device with the device 10c attached thereto may then be enclosed in a mobile device casing 34. The phone case anchor may be configured in any suitable size. Moreover, the phone case anchor may be made from any suitable material. The anchor clip 32 may be “U” shaped and is configured to attach to at least one removable cord 20, (shown in FIG. 2), which may be connected to a second object (e.g., a belt loop or purse). The anchor clip 32 is configured to fit through the connector opening at the bottom of the mobile device casing. The anchor clip may be made out of braided rope. This will allow a user to manually move the anchor clip away from the connector opening to insert a cable therein.

[0025] In another exemplary embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the device 10d includes a waist line clip 37 and a ring 39. The waist line clip is configured to attach to another object, such as, for example, a belt, a belt loop 41, a purse strap, etc. The waist line clip may be made from any suitable material. The ring 39 is configured to attach to at least one removable cord 20, (shown in FIG. 2), which may be connected to a second object (e.g., a mobile device).
