3-IN-1 WASHRAG, TOILETRY BAG AND BACK SCRUBBER COMBINATION

Abstract

A combination of toiletry bag, washrag, and back-scrubber is provided. The bathing apparatus embodying the combination provides a mesh bag with a cattycorner handle configuration for enabling back-scrubbing functionality, while the bag can store toiletries and the mesh provides a washing surface.

Claims

1. A combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality, comprising: a mesh bag defined by one or more edges; a first handle extending from the one or more edges; and a second handle along the one or more edges, wherein the second handle is generally diametrically opposing the first handle.

2. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 1, further comprising: a cord loop connected along a mouth of a opening of the mesh bag, wherein the cord loop is generally equidistant between the first handle and the second handle.

3. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 2, further comprising: a channel along a periphery of the mouth, wherein the cord loop is received in the channel in such a way that the mouth is movable between an open condition and a closed condition.

4. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 3, further comprising: a cord lock operatively associated with the cord loop for selectively removably securing the cord lock along the cord loop.

5. The combination toiletry bag, washrag, and scrubbing functionality of claim 4, wherein each handle is a cord loop.

6. A combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality, comprising: a bathing apparatus comprising: an upper edge and a lower edge; a mesh bag providing an opening between said upper and lower edges; a mouth communicating to the opening, the mouth extending between a first mouth end and a second mouth end along the upper edge; a first handle adjacent the first mouth end; and a second handle along the lower edge generally diametrically opposing the first handle, whereby said first and second handles define a cattycorner configuration.

7. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 6, further comprising: a cord loop connected adjacent the second mouth end and generally upward of the second handle.

8. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 7, further comprising: a channel along a periphery of the mouth, wherein the cord loop is received in the channel in such a way that the mouth is movable between an open condition and a closed condition.

9. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 8, further comprising: a cord lock operatively associated with the cord loop for selectively removably securing the cord lock along the cord loop.

10. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 9, wherein each handle is a cord loop.

11. The combination toiletry bag, wash surface, and scrubbing functionality of claim 10, wherein the bathing apparatus is generally rectangular in a flat condition.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0014] The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.

[0015] Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention provides a combination of toiletry bag, washrag, and back-scrubber. The bathing apparatus embodied in the present invention provides a mesh bag with a cattycorner handle configuration for enabling back-scrubbing functionality, while the bag can store toiletries and the mesh provides a washing surface.

[0016] Referring now to FIGS. 1 through 5, the present invention may include a bathing routine apparatus that embodies a washer, back-scrubber and toiletry bag combination, generally indicated by the numeral 10.

[0017] The bathing routine apparatus 10 forms a bag having a mesh front section 1 and a generally diametrically opposing printable rear section 7. The front and rear sections 1 and 7 may be joined by a joining element 2, including but not limited to threading, such as Kevlar™ threading. The bathing routine apparatus 10 may be generally defined by a mesh substrate, typically made from a plasticized or polymer material, such as polyester or the like, that amounts to the mesh front section along the front surface, wherein the printable rear section 7 is attached over the mesh substrate along the rear surface. The printable rear section 7 is made of a material that allows printability. In other embodiment, the printable rear section 7 has print dyed onto the printable rear section 7 material.

[0018] As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, considering either the front and rear sections 1 and 7 as a planar rectangular (when the bathing routine apparatus 10 is in a folded condition), a plurality of handles 3 may extend from at least cattycorner “corners” of the “planar rectangle”. This cattycorner configuration enables the scrubbing action demonstrated in FIG. 5 through a user 6 manually engaging the handles 3. In FIG. 3, the handles 3 extends from the upper right-hand corner and the lower left-hand corner in the form of loops. It should be understood that the handle 3 may be a cord loop as shown, though in other embodiments the handle 3 may be a cord not be in a loop, or may not even be a cord, as other objects may fit the bill as long as they function as herein disclosed. The handle 3 may extend from a third corner (in FIG. 3, the upper left-hand corner), from this ‘non-cattycorner’ location the handle 3 may be associated with a handle lock 4.

[0019] The handle 3 can also be joined to the bag by way of the joining element 2. In some embodiments, the non-cattycorner handle 3 may be received along an inner portion of a mouth 40 of the bag, thereby enabling a user 6 to cinch the mouth 40 shut, closing off the opening of the bag. The handle lock 4 can secure the mouth 40 in such a secured/cinched condition for keeping the contents 5 housed within the bag in a secured condition for transportation, storage, or other purposes.

[0020] A method of making the present invention may include the following. A manufacturer may provide at least two rectangular, coextensive pieces of the mesh substrate and join them around three of the four outer edge leaving the fourth edge as the opening for the mouth 40 of the bag.

[0021] In one embodiment, the manufacturer may attach the cord lock 4 to the non-cattycorner cord 3, and then wrap the cord 3 around the mouth 40, fold the mesh opening outwardly over the looped cord 3 and attach the distal edge of the mouth back to the body of the bag, forming a channel the looped cord 3 slides along in. The cord lock 4 will be disposed outside this channel adjacent a first corner of the mouth 40 (the non-cattycorner). Next, the manufacturer may connect another cord 3 as a loop to the second corner of the mouth 40. Then, the manufacturer may cut another cord 30 and attach it as a loop to the corner cattycorner said second corner. The printable rear section 7 may be attached to along the rear surface prior to completion.

[0022] A method of using the present invention may include the following. The bathing routine apparatus 10 disclosed above may be provided. A user 6 may place contents 5 (typically toiletries used during a bathing routine) into the opening of the bag through the mouth 40. Then the user 6 may close invention using the loop lock 4 so that the objects 5 stay inside the bag/bathing routine apparatus 10. Then the user 6 may carry the bathing routine apparatus 10 filled with toiletries to shower/bathtub, hang the bathing routine apparatus 10 from nearby structure by the cord loop 3 associated with the cord lock 4, if they so choose, and then remove the desired toiletries 5. After applying body wash to the front mesh section 1 (of the mesh bag), the user 6 could slide their hand into the mouth 40/opening and scrub/wash their body. Additionally, the user could manually simultaneously engage the cattycorner cord loops 3 with their respective hands and scrub hard-to-reach parts of their body, such as their back, as illustrated in FIG. 5. After rinsing off from the mesh bag, the user 6 can place toiletry items 5 back inside the opening and move the loops lock 4 back to a cinched position.

[0023] Additionally, the present invention can be used to wash dishes, wash cars, and carry items.
