    Abstract

    A golf mat assembly includes a mat that can be positioned on uneven terrain on a golf course. A handle is integrated into the mat to grip for carrying the mat. A pad is coupled to the mat and guide indicia are printed on the pad for pointing in the desired direction on the golf course. A tee is coupled to and extends upwardly from the pad for having a golf ball positioned thereon when the mat is positioned on the uneven terrain to enhance the user's ability to shoot the golf ball on the uneven terrain. A plurality of cones is each coupled to and extends downwardly from the mat to inhibit the mat from being displaced on the uneven terrain.

    Claims

    1. A golf mat assembly for positioning on uneven terrain on a golf course to facilitate a golf shot, said assembly comprising: a mat being configured to be positioned on uneven terrain on a golf course, wherein said mat has a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge extending therebetween, said perimeter edge being continuously arcuate about a center point of said mat such that said mat has a disk shape, said mat being comprised of a flexible material; a handle being integrated into said mat wherein said handle is configured to be gripped for carrying said mat; a pad being coupled to said mat, said pad comprising artificial turf wherein said pad is configured to simulate grass on the golf course, said pad having a single guide indicia being printed thereon wherein said guide indicia is configured to be pointed in a desired direction on the golf course; a tee being coupled to and extending upwardly from said pad wherein said tee is configured to have a golf ball positioned thereon when said mat is positioned on the uneven terrain thereby enhancing a user's ability to shoot the golf ball on the uneven terrain; and a plurality of cones, each of said cones being coupled to and extending downwardly from said mat wherein each of said cones is configured to engage the uneven terrain to inhibit said mat from being displaced on the uneven terrain.

    2. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said bottom side of said mat has a lip extending downwardly therefrom, said lip being aligned with said perimeter edge, said lip extending around a full circumference of said perimeter edge.

The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said handle comprises a pair of outward members each extending away from said perimeter edge of said mat and a central member extending between said pair of outward member, said central member being spaced from said perimeter edge of said mat to define a hand space between said central member and said perimeter edge wherein said hand space is configured to accommodate a user's hand for gripping said central member.

The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said pad has a lower surface, an upper surface and an outer edge, said lower surface being bonded to said top side of said mat, said outer edge being spaced from said perimeter edge of said mat, said outer edge being co-arcuate with said perimeter edge such that said pad has a disk shape, said guide indicia being printed on said upper surface, said guide indicia comprising an elongated stripe.

The assembly according to claim 4, wherein said tee comprises a disk having a bottom surface and a top surface, said bottom surface being bonded to said upper surface of said pad, said disk being offset from a center of said pad, said guide indicia extending between said disk and said outer edge of said pad.

The assembly according to claim 5, wherein said tee includes a stem being coupled to and extending upwardly from said top surface of said disk, said stem being centrally positioned on said disk, said stem having a distal end with respect to said disk, said distal end being open wherein said distal end is configured to accommodate curvature of the golf ball when the golf ball is positioned on said distal end of said stem.

The assembly according to claim 2, wherein each of said cones is positioned on said bottom side of said mat, said cones being spaced apart from each other and being distributed over said bottom side, each of said cones having a distal end with respect to said bottom side, said distal end of each of said cones being rounded such that each of said cones tapers to a blunt point.

    8. A golf mat assembly for positioning on uneven terrain on a golf course to facilitate a golf shot, said assembly comprising: a mat being configured to be positioned on uneven terrain on a golf course, said mat having a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge extending therebetween, said perimeter edge being continuously arcuate about a center point of said mat such that said mat has a disk shape, said mat being comprised of a flexible material, said bottom side having a lip extending downwardly therefrom, said lip being aligned with said perimeter edge, said lip extending around a full circumference of said perimeter edge; a handle being integrated into said mat wherein said handle is configured to be gripped for carrying said mat, said handle comprising a pair of outward members each extending away from said perimeter edge of said mat and a central member extending between said pair of outward member, said central member being spaced from said perimeter edge of said mat to define a hand space between said central member and said perimeter edge wherein said hand space is configured to accommodate a user's hand for gripping said central member; a pad being coupled to said mat, said pad comprising artificial turf wherein said pad is configured to simulate grass on the golf course, said pad having a single guide indicia being printed thereon wherein said guide indicia is configured to be pointed in a desired direction on the golf course, said pad having a lower surface, an upper surface and an outer edge, said lower surface being bonded to said top side of said mat, said outer edge being spaced from said perimeter edge of said mat, said outer edge being co-arcuate with said perimeter edge such that said pad has a disk shape, said guide indicia being printed on said upper surface, said guide indicia comprising an elongated stripe; a tee being coupled to and extending upwardly from said pad wherein said tee is configured to have a golf ball positioned thereon when said mat is positioned on the uneven terrain thereby enhancing a user's ability to shoot the golf ball on the uneven terrain, said tee comprising: a disk having a bottom surface and a top surface, said bottom surface being bonded to said upper surface of said pad, said disk being offset from a center of said pad, said guide indicia extending between said disk and said outer edge of said pad; and a stem being coupled to and extending upwardly from said top surface of said disk, said stem being centrally positioned on said disk, said stem having a distal end with respect to said disk, said distal end being open wherein said distal end is configured to accommodate curvature of the golf ball when the golf ball is positioned on said distal end of said stem; and a plurality of cones, each of said cones being coupled to and extending downwardly from said mat wherein each of said cones is configured to engage the uneven terrain to inhibit said mat from being displaced on the uneven terrain, each of said cones being positioned on said bottom side of said mat, said cones being spaced apart from each other and being distributed over said bottom side, each of said cones having a distal end with respect to said bottom side, said distal end of each of said cones being rounded such that each of said cones tapers to a blunt point.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0018] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new golf device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

    [0019] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 6, the golf mat assembly 10 generally comprises a mat 12 that can be positioned on uneven terrain on a golf course. The mat 12 has a top side 14, a bottom side 16 and a perimeter edge 18 extending therebetween, and the perimeter edge 18 is continuously arcuate about a center point of the mat 12 such that the mat 12 has a disk shape. The mat 12 is comprised of a flexible material, such as rubber or the like, and the bottom side 16 has a lip 20 extending downwardly therefrom.

    [0020] The lip 20 is aligned with the perimeter edge 18 and the lip 20 extends around a full circumference of the perimeter edge 18.

    [0021] A handle 22 is integrated into the mat 12 to be gripped for carrying the mat 12. The handle 22 comprises a pair of outward members 24 each extending away from the perimeter edge 18 of the mat 12 and a central member 26 extending between the pair of outward members 24. The central member 26 is spaced from the perimeter edge 18 of the mat 12 to define a hand space 28 between the central member 26 and the perimeter edge 18 to accommodate a user's hand for gripping the central member 26.

    [0022] A pad 30 is coupled to the mat 12 and the pad 30 comprises artificial turf to simulate grass on the golf course. The pad 30 has guide indicia 32 printed thereon and the mat 12 is rotated to facilitate the guide indicia 32 to be pointed in the desired direction on the golf course. The pad 30 has a lower surface 34, an upper surface 36 and an outer edge 38. The lower surface 34 is bonded to the top side 14 of the mat 12 and the outer edge 38 is spaced from the perimeter edge 18 of the pad 30. The outer edge 38 is co-arcuate with the perimeter edge 18 such that the pad 30 has a disk shape. The guide indicia 32 are printed on the upper surface 36 and the guide indicia 32 comprise an elongated stripe.

    [0023] A tee 40 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the pad 30. A golf ball 42 can be positioned on the tee 40 when the mat 12 is positioned on the uneven terrain thereby enhancing the user's ability to shoot the golf ball 42 on the uneven terrain. The tee 40 comprises a disk 44 that has a bottom surface 46 and a top surface 48, and the bottom surface 46 is bonded to the upper surface 36 of the pad 30. The disk 44 is offset from a center 50 of the pad 30 and the guide indicia 32 extend substantially between the disk 44 and the outer edge 38 of the pad 30. The tee 40 includes a stem 52 that is coupled to and extends upwardly from the top surface 48 of the disk 44. The stem 52 is centrally positioned on the disk 44 and the stem 52 has a distal end 54 with respect to the disk 44. The distal end 54 is open to accommodate curvature of the golf ball 42 when the golf ball 42 is positioned on the distal end 54 of the stem 52.

    [0024] A plurality of cones 56 is provided and each of the cones 56 is coupled to and extends downwardly from the mat 12. In this way each of the cones 56 can engage the uneven terrain to inhibit the mat 12 from being displaced on the uneven terrain. Each of the cones 56 is positioned on the bottom side 16 of the mat 12 and the cones 56 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed over the bottom side 16. Each of the cones 56 has a distal end 58 with respect to the bottom side 16 and the distal end 58 of each of the cones 56 is rounded such that each of the cones 56 tapers to a blunt point.

    [0025] In use, the mat 12 is carried while golfing. The mat 12 is employed when the user shoots their golf ball 42 onto uneven terrain, such as gravel, rocks or other terrain that would be difficult to shoot the golf ball 42. The user picks up the golf ball 42 and places the mat 12 where the golf ball 42 was lying such that the guide indicia 32 points in the direction of the intended golf shot. The golf ball 42 is then placed on the tee 40 and the user completes the subsequent golf shot. In this way the golf ball 42 can be accurately shot in every situation on a golf course.
