COMBINATION CLUTCH PURSE AND FLASK

Abstract

The present invention provides for a novel flask carry system whereby the flask is incorporated into a clutch purse accessory.

Claims

1. A flask system comprising: a drinking flask; a carry strap attached to said drinking flask; and optionally, a decorative cover positioned on said flask.

2. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said flask is in a horizontal orientation.

3. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said flask is in a vertical orientation.

4. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said flask includes a pair of strap connectors and connector mount attached to said flask.

5. The flask system of claim 4 wherein said strap connectors are constructed and arranged to connect said strap to said flask.

6. The flask system of claim 4 wherein said strap connectors are constructed and arranged to removably connect said strap to said flask.

7. The flask system of claim 4 wherein said strap connectors are constructed and arranged to permanently connect said strap to said flask.

8. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said cover envelopes said flask.

9. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said cover includes a plurality of tassels.

10. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said cover includes at least one of precious metals, precious metals incorporated into thread, actual gemstones, simulated gemstones, electronic light emitting components, or combinations thereof.

11. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said strap includes at least one of precious metals, precious metals incorporated into thread, actual gemstones, simulated gemstones, electronic light emitting components, or combinations thereof.

12. The flask system of claim 1 wherein said flask includes at least one of precious metals, precious metals, actual gemstones, simulated gemstones, electronic light emitting components, or combinations thereof attached thereto.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0037] The present invention provides a novel arrangement whereby a flask is incorporated into a clutch purse system. As shown in FIG. 1, system 10, according to one embodiment provides for flask 14 that is in a horizontal orientation arrangement and attached to carry strap 12. The system includes a carry strap 12 and cover 16.

[0038] As demonstrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, flask 14 is attached to carry strap 12 by connector 32 that engages connector loops 34 secured to flask 14 by connector mounts 38. Flask 16 has a first side 26 with access spout 20 formed thereon and a second side 28 that is the opposite and solid side of flask 14. As generally understood, flask is formed with an internal fluid storage cavity, not shown, and desired solutions are filled and removed by removing cap 21 and accessing the cavity through spout 20.

[0039] Although the figures each demonstrate embodiments of cover 16, one embodiment is contemplated as providing flask 14 with no cover.

[0040] In an embodiment demonstrated in FIG. 9, flask 14 is in a vertical orientation and arrangement. The embodiment of FIGS. 9-13 demonstrate cover 16 with tassels 24 connected thereto. Although the word tassel, is used, the terms is meant to include any similarly formed element. Tassel will also include a fringe, or in plurality of fringes. In fashion, it is generally understood that tassel is round vs fringe is straight. The term tassel herein is any tassel, fringe, or all similarly looking elements. The system 10 is a flask and also a purse. It has one or more pockets formed on either or both front and back of the cover. In one embodiment, pockets are configured for retaining cell phone, credit cards, keys, and small items.

[0041] One impetus of the present invention provides that the decorative nature of the flask be utilized such as the flask appears to be an elegant women's accessory. Therefore, various materials are contemplated as being utilized with any one or more of flask 14, cover 16 and tassels 24. This includes, but not limited to inclusion of any one or combination of precious metals, precious metals incorporated into thread (e.g. gold thread, silver thread, etc.), actual gemstones, simulated gemstones, electronic light emitting components, incorporated in any one or more of the flask 14, cover 16, or strap 12.

[0042] In general, the present invention is best described as a flask incorporated as a major component within a clutch purse system. Although two particular embodiments are demonstrated herein whereby one flask is horizontal and one flask is vertical, the present invention is not limited to any one particular embodiment.
