    Abstract

    A device for securely transporting multiple potted plants or other objects having a base, wherein the device comprises a foundation having several adjustable openings that allow the base of a plant holder or other object to sit securely within the device.

    Claims

    1. A device for securely transporting multiple objects, each object having a base, said device comprising: a foundation; said foundation having four sides; each of said four sides having a foldable portion that folds below said foundation; each said foldable portion being a side flap that ends at a free edge; said foundation comprising several openings; each of said openings constructed so that an object having a base sits securely within an opening of said openings of said foundation; said foundation fitting securely within a separate container creating said device; each of said openings being adjustable so that different sized and shaped base of said object sit securely within each of said openings; each of said openings comprised of a fixed hole surrounded by multiple adjustable slits between tabs within saki foundation which when said tabs are depressed increases size of said fixed hole; said device being constructed so that said object sitting within said hole is transported to a separate location.

    2. The device of claim 1 wherein said device is comprised of a fiber based material.

    3. The device of claim 1 wherein said device is comprised of a polyethylene material.

    4. The device of claim 1 wherein said device is waterproof.

    5. The device of claim 1 wherein said device is constructed for multiple uses.

    6. The device of claim 1 wherein said objects are plant holders.

    7. The device of claim 1 wherein said foundation is made of a foldable material.

    8. The device of claim 1 wherein said device further comprises a separate divider placed above or beneath said foundation which physically separates each of said objects placed in said foundation.

    9. The device of claim 1 wherein said foundation in said container has little or no movement so said objects are not harmed during movement of said container.

    10. The device of claim 1 wherein said foundation has adjustable sides so that said foundation fits multiple sizes of said containers.

    11. The device of claim 1 wherein a water repellant or waterproof sheet is placed in the bottom of said container, directly below each of said objects.

    12. The device of claim 11 wherein said sheet comprises polyethylene.

    13. The device of claim 11 wherein said sheet is attached to said container by an attachment mechanism.

    14. A device for securely transporting multiple potted plants, each potted pant having a base, said device comprising: a foundation; said foundation having four sides; each of said four skies having a foldable portion that folds below said foundation; each said foldable portion being a side flap that ends at a free edge; said foundation comprising several openings; each of said openings being adjustable so that different sized and shaped base of a plant holder sit securely within an opening of said openings; each of said openings contain multiple adjustable slits within said foundation which go below said foundation when a plant holder is placed in said opening; said foundation fitting securely within a separate container; said device constructed so said potted plant sitting within said hole s transported to a separate location.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0047] FIG. 1 shows a top view of the device 10 having four sides, 12, 14, 16 and 18. Each of the sides has a foldable portion 20, 22, 24 and 26 respectfully. The device 10 is shown having five openings 28, 30, 32, 34, and 36, however any number of openings can be placed on the device 10 so long as there is enough space for the plants or other objects to fit within the device and in a box or container, Each of the openings has multiple slits 40 between tabs 41 which allow the device to retain different size plant holders or other objects having a base.
