Abstract
Systems and apparatus for covering, protecting, and concealing personal, private, confidential, and nonpublic information and/or covering and concealing printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more sheets, pages, or pages, of a book. The systems and apparatus can include a releasable, removable, or un-releasable binding device, tamper-evident features, labeling features, and binding components can be configured to fasten, connect, and/or secure covering devices and which can substantially rotate 360 degrees, fold back upon itself, lie flat when open and/or closed, and releasably cover personal, private, nonpublic, or other information, and/or cover and/or conceal printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more sheets, pages, or pages, of a book.
Claims
1. A system for releasably covering and concealing printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more sheets, pages, or pages of a book, comprising: a transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board wherein the strip, sheet, or board have a first face and a second face and four edges and wherein the first face and/or the second face are magnetic, or double magnetized (also referred to as two-sided), or have one or more magnetic components or elements, or is comprised of two layers having one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements between the layers; and, one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards wherein the strips have a first face and a second face and four edges and wherein the one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards are sized slightly longer than a substantially transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board and wherein the first face and/or second face are magnetic, or double magnetized, or have one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements, or is comprised of two layers having one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements between the layers and wherein the one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards extend beyond one or more edges of the transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board as a handling tab and wherein the transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board can be positioned behind one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book, and one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards can be positioned on the reverse side of the same one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book to form a cooperating repositionable system to releasably magnetically adhere to cover and conceal printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book, and wherein the system can be removed from the pages, sheets, or pages of a book for reuse.
2. A system for releasably covering and concealing printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more sheets, pages, or pages of a book, comprising: a transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board have a first face and a second face and four edges and wherein the first face and/or the second face are magnetic, or double magnetized, or have one or more magnetic components or elements, or is comprised of two layers having one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements between the layers; and one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards have a first face and a second face and four edges and wherein the first face and/or the second face are magnetic, or double magnetized (also referred to as two-sided), or have one or more magnetic components or elements, or is comprised of two layers having one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements between the layers; and, one or more fastening or connecting components or elements that can join, connect, fasten, secure, or bind together one or more edges of one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards to one or more edges of a transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board and wherein one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards can rotate substantially 360 degrees to fold back upon the corresponding transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board and lie substantially flat wherein the transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board can be positioned behind one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book and one or more of the connected substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards can be rotated and positioned on the reverse side of the one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book to form a cooperating repositionable system to releasably magnetically adhere to cover and conceal printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more pages sheets, or pages of a book, and wherein the system can be removed from the pages, sheets, or pages of a book and rotated 180 degrees for reuse.
3. A system for releasably covering and concealing printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more sheets, pages, or pages of a book, comprising: a transparent to opaque strip, sheet, or board having a bendable center axis or living hinge comprised of a formed material having attachment edges or attachment halves and a flexing zone between the attachment edges or attachment halves; comprising, a transparent to opaque first attachment edge or attachment half and wherein the first face and/or the second face are magnetic, or double magnetized, or have one or more magnetic components or elements, or is comprised of two layers having one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements between the layers; and a substantially opaque second attachment edge or attachment half comprising one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards and wherein the first face and/or the second face are magnetic, or double magnetized, or have one or more magnetic components or elements, or is comprised of two layers having one or more magnetic and/or double magnetized components or elements between the layers; and wherein a first attachment edge or attachment half can be positioned behind one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book, and wherein one or more substantially opaque strips, sheets, or boards of the second attachment edge or attachment half can rotate substantially 360 degrees to fold back over onto the reverse page, sheet, or pages of a book upon the first attachment edge or attachment half and lie substantially flat to form a continuous cooperating repositionable system to releasably magnetically adhere to cover and conceal printed and/or hand-written text, lettering, graphics, drawings, and/or marks on one or more pages, sheets, or pages of a book, and wherein the system can be removed from a page, sheet, or page of a book and rotated 180 degrees for reuse.
