Abstract
Provided is a hair dryer, including a housing, a wind module, a control key and a heating module. The housing has a handle, an air duct and an annular flow-guide chamber. One side of the handle forms an air inlet, one side of the air duct forms an air outlet, and the center of the annular flow-guide chamber forms a perforation. The annular flow-guide communicates with the handle and the air duct, and the angle between the handle and the air duct is not more than 180 degrees. The wind module is disposed in the handle and includes a motor, a fan, a control circuit and an electric power unit, mutually connected. The control key is disposed on the surface of the handle and connected to the control circuit. The heating module is disposed in the air duct and connected to the control circuit and the electric power unit.

Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] The present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art by reading the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment thereof, with reference to the attached drawings, in which:
[0012]
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0014] The accompanying drawings are included to provide a further understanding of the invention, and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification. The drawings illustrate embodiments of the invention and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles of the invention.
[0015] Referring to
[0016] The housing 10 can be molded into two symmetrical half-shells using polymer materials, such as polycarbonate. The motor, fan, control circuit, electric power unit, such as rechargeable battery or wire connected to an external power supply with components such as the rectifier, and the heating module 13, such as electric heating coil, can be selected from known commercially available products. The present invention is not limited to any specific materials and components. The wind module 11, the control key 12, and the heating module 13 are mounted in the slot (not shown) corresponding to each component in one of the half-shell, and the other half-shell is buckled with the half-shell with mounted component. Screws and other fixing parts are used to lock the two half-shells to complete the assembly of the hair dryer 1.
[0017] The air inlet 1011, which may be grid-shaped, formed on the side of the handle 101 has the function of filtering hair and dust. The user presses the control key 12 to activate the wind module 11 and the heating module 13, and the wind module 11 sucks the air from the air inlet 1011 flowing into the annular flow-guide chamber 103 along the inside of the handle 101. The annular flow-guide chamber 103 does not communicate with the perforation 104, and the cross-section of the perforation 104 along the air flow direction, i.e., axial direction, is circular, elliptical or water drop shaped. The air flow is divided into an upper flow and a lower flow by the annular flow-guide chamber 103 and then merged into the air duct 102. The confluent air flow passes through the heating unit 13 and is ejected from the air outlet 1021.
[0018] With the air flow division and buffer design of the annular flow-guide chamber 103, the backflow generated by the air passing through the heating module 13 will not impact the fan or the motor, and therefore, the noise and power consumption of the hair dryer 1 can be greatly reduced. The perforation 104 located in the center of the annular diversion chamber 103 can be used for hanging the hair dryer 1 on a hook, which is convenient for household users or hairdressers to carry, and improves the convenience of storing and using the hair dryer 1.
[0019] In the present embodiment, the hair dryer 1 further includes a wind deflector 14 and a safety net 15. The wind deflector 14 is detachably connected to the air outlet 1021, and the safety net 15 is disposed between the air outlet 1021 and the wind deflector 14. The angle between the handle 101 and the air duct 102 is 90 degrees, the water drop-shaped perforation 104 and the tapered wind deflector 14 can increase the air flow rate, and the safety net 15 can prevent the user from touching the heating unit 13 accidentally.
[0020]
[0021] In the present embodiment, the axial cross-section of the perforation 204 located in the center of the annular flow-guide chamber 203 is circular, the angle between the handle 201 and the air duct 202 is 180 degrees, and the cylindrical wind deflector 24 comprises air vents 241 and comb teeth 242 disposed at intervals. With the design of the air vent 241 and the comb teeth 242, the hair dryer 2 can provide both the functions of drying and styling hair.
[0022] In summary, in the hair dryer of the present invention, the features include the air flow division and buffer design of the annular flow-guide chamber, the backflow generated by the heating module not impacting the fan or the motor, and the perforation located in the center of the annular diversion chamber for hanging on a hook, thereby solving existing problems of the known hair dryer, achieving the effect of reducing the noise and power consumption of the hair dryer and improving the convenience of storage and use of the hair dryer.
[0023] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it is apparent to those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention which is intended to be defined by the appended claims.
