    Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)

[0011] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0012] FIG. 1 is an isometric view of a multi-layer antibacterial glove according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0013] FIG. 2 is a top plan view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0014] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the disclosure along line 3-3 of FIG. 2.

[0015] FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the disclosure along line 4-4 of FIG. 3.

[0016] FIG. 5 is a detail view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new glove embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0018] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the multi-layer antibacterial glove 10 generally comprises a glove body 12 comprising an inner layer 14, a second layer 16, a third layer 18, and an outer layer 20. The inner layer 14 is breathable and configured to form fit a user's hand. The inner layer 14 acts as a lining to prevent the user's hand from sweating. The second layer 16 is continuously disposed around the inner layer 14. The second layer 16 is a moisture-resistant material comprising a cotton material or other moisture-resistant material including, but not limited to, rubber, vinyl, canvas, and the like. The third layer 18 is continuously disposed around the second layer 16 and is antibacterial. The outer layer 20 is continuously disposed around the third layer 18 and comprises a fashionable or functional glove material. The outer layer 20 may comprise a decorative lace material or other fashionable or functional glove material including, but not limited to, leather, vinyl, silk, and the like. The glove body 12 is sufficiently flexible and thin to be worn like a traditional glove. A plurality of antibacterial nodules 22 is coupled to the glove body 12 within the inner layer 14 to directly contact the user's hand. An antibacterial coating 24 is continuously disposed on the outer layer 20. The antibacterial coating 24 may comprise silica and titania.

[0019] In use, the multi-layer antibacterial glove 10 is worn for any traditional purpose of wearing fashionable or functional gloves including, but not limited to, church service, driving, and laboring. The antibacterial properties of the third layer, the antibacterial nodules, and the antibacterial coating provide peace of mind to the user that they are being protected from germs and viruses.

[0020] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0021] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
