Abstract
A bedding system comprises an anchor and a comforter to minimize and/or eliminate the effort of making of a bed. The bedding system comprises an anchor and a comforter. The anchor provides elastic straps to connect to the comforter so that the comforter can stay tucked all the time. The elastic straps provide continuous adjustments with the movements of a user. Additionally, the anchor can be adjusted to allow the user to achieve ultimate comfort and high-quality sleep while tucked in during sleep. Both the anchor and comforter can be folded and locked in place to fit to various widths and thicknesses of the bed. The bedding system provides efficient connections between the anchor and the comforter, thus allows the use to easily disconnect the system for washing and/or replacement.
Claims
1. A bedding system for keeping a comforter staying tucked and providing efficient making of a bed comprising: a comforter; an anchor; a mattress; the mattress comprising a front face and a back face; the comforter comprising a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side; the comforter wrapping around the mattress with the back face exposed; the bottom, the first side and the second side of the comforter being wrapped on the mattress; the anchor being wrapped around the back face of the mattress adjacent the bottom of the comforter; the anchor being wrapped around the bottom, the first side, and the second side of the comforter; the anchor comprising a plurality of elastic straps; the plurality of elastic straps being attached to the anchor; the plurality of elastic straps being removably and adjustably fastened to the bottom, the first side and the second side of the comforter; the comforter comprising a flap and a flap crease; the flap being positioned on the top of the comforter; the flap being folded to the front of the comforter at the flap crease; the comforter comprising a plurality of extenders; each of the plurality of extenders being attached to the bottom, the first side, and the second side of the comforter; each of the plurality of extenders comprising an extender crease; each of the plurality of extenders being attached to the comforter at the extender crease; wherein the comforter can fit to various thicknesses of the mattress by folding or unfolding the plurality of extenders; the anchor comprising a denim, a plurality of denim fasteners, and a plurality of scrunching fasteners; the plurality of denim fasteners being laterally distributed on the denim adjacent the center; the plurality of scrunching fasteners being laterally distributed on the denim adjacent the plurality of denim fasteners; and wherein the plurality of denim fasteners and the plurality of scrunching fasteners are used to adjust the length of the denim to fit to the width of the comforter.

The bedding system for keeping a comforter staying tucked and providing efficient making of a bed as claimed in claim 1 comprising: each of the plurality of elastic straps comprising a snap fastener, an adjustment mechanism, and a strap fastener; the strap fastener being peripherally attached to the denim; the snap fastener being positioned on each of the plurality of elastic straps opposite the strap fastener; the snap fastener being removably fastened to the comforter; and the adjustment mechanism being positioned on each of the plurality of elastic straps between the snap fastener and the strap fastener.

The bedding system for keeping a comforter staying tucked and providing efficient making of a bed as claimed in claim 5 comprising: the comforter comprising a plurality of anchor fasteners; the plurality of anchor fasteners being distributed on the bottom, the first side, and the second side of the comforter; and the snap fasteners of each of the plurality of elastic straps of the anchor being fastened to each of the plurality of anchor fasteners of the comforter.

The bedding system for keeping a comforter staying tucked and providing efficient making of a bed as claimed in claim 1 comprising: the comforter comprising a skirt; the skirt being attached to the front at the edges of the first side, the second side, and the bottom of the comforter; and wherein the skirt flares out to provide a traditional high bed appearance of the bedding system.

[0014] As can be seen in FIG. 1 to FIG. 6, the present invention comprises a bedding system that keeps a comforter staying tucked all the time and provide efficient making of a bed. The bedding system of the present invention offers a user ultimate comfort for sleep with active adjustable tightness of the comforter being tucked on the bed, where the elastic straps provide continuous adjustments with the movements of the user during sleep. Additionally, the bedding system provides significantly more easiness and effectiveness of making the bed with a minimum of time and effort comparing with conventional bedding systems. More specifically, as can be seen in FIG. 1, the bedding system of the present invention comprises a comforter 10, an anchor 30, and a mattress 50. The mattress 50 comprises a front face 51 and back face 52. The back face 52 of the mattress 50 normally is supported by a flat surface including, but not limited to, floor, ground, box spring, platform, etc. The front face 51 of the mattress 50 and all sides except the head/top side surface of the mattress 50 against a headboard of a bed are wrapped around by the comforter 10, as can be seen in FIG. 2. The comforter 10 comprises a top 12, a bottom 13, a first side 14, and a second side 15. The bottom 13, the first side 14, and the second side 15 of the comforter 10 are wrapped about the mattress, and the anchor 30 is then wrapped around the back face 52 of the mattress 50 adjacent the bottom 13 of the comforter 10. The anchor 30 further folds over and wraps around the bottom 13, the first side 14, and the second side 15 of the comforter 10. The anchor 30 comprises a plurality of elastic straps 32. The plurality of elastic straps 32 is attached to the anchor 30 and is removably and adjustably fastened to the bottom 13, the first side 14, and the second side 15 of the comforter 10. Thus, the comforter 10 is tucked on the bed with the anchor 30 holding the comforter 10 to the mattress 50. The elastic straps 32 of the anchor 30 provides proper force to keep the comforter 10 tucked on the bed and the user comfortably tucked in the bed during sleep. Additionally, the elastic straps 32 allows the user easily to get up while still keeping the comforter 10 tucked on the bed thus eliminating lengthy bed-making process.
[0015] As can be seen in FIG. 1 to FIG. 5, the comforter 10 comprises a flap 11, the top 12, the bottom 13, the first side 14, the second side 15, a front 16, a back 17, a flap crease 18, a plurality of anchor fasteners 22, a plurality of extenders 23. Each of the plurality of extenders 23 further comprises an extender crease 24. Specifically, the flap 11 is positioned on the top 12 of the comforter 10 and folded to the front 16 of the comforter 10 at the flap crease 18. The pillow attachment 21 is attached to the front 16 of the comforter 10 adjacent the top 12. The pillow attachment can take various shapes and sizes that the user desires and may occupy the area between the edge of the top 12 and the flap crease 18. As can be seen in FIG. 3 to FIG. 4, each of the plurality of extenders 23 is attached to the bottom 13, the first side 14, and the second side 15 of the comforter 10. Additionally, each of the plurality of extenders 23 is attached to the comforter 10 at the extender crease 24, wherein the comforter 10 can fit to various thicknesses of the mattress by folding or unfolding the plurality of extenders 23. Further, the comforter 10 may include, but is not limited to, conventional comforter, duvet with a duvet cover, blanket, etc.
[0016] As can be seen in FIG. 1 to FIG. 2, the anchor 30 of the present invention comprises a denim 31, the plurality of elastic straps 32, a plurality of denim fasteners 36, and a plurality of scrunching fasteners 37. The plurality of denim fasteners 36 is laterally distributed on the denim 31 adjacent the center. The plurality of scrunching fasteners 37 is laterally distributed on the denim 31 adjacent the plurality of denim fasteners 36, wherein the plurality of denim fasteners 36 and the plurality of scrunching fasteners 37 are used to adjust the length of the denim 31 to fit to the width of the comforter 10. The denim 31 can be folded near the center to the desired length to fit to the width of the comforter 10, which fits to the specific mattress, including, but not limited to king bed, queen bed, full bed, etc. Then both the plurality of scrunching fasteners 37 and the plurality of denim fasteners 36 are used to lock the denim 31 in place. Additionally, the plurality of scrunching fasteners 37 includes, but is not limited to, hook and loop fastener, button fastener, snap fastener, and any other suitable fastener. The plurality of denim fasteners 36 includes, but is not limited to, hook and loop fastener, button fastener, snap fastener, magnet, etc. The denim 31 is the main body of the anchor and can be made of a material including, but not limited to, fabric, denim, flexible plastic, flexible polymer, metal, nylon, and any other suitable material. Additionally, each of the plurality of elastic straps 32 comprises a snap fastener 33, an adjustment mechanism 34, and a strap fastener 35. The strap fastener 35 is peripherally attached to the denim 31. The snap fastener 33 is positioned on each of the plurality of elastic straps 32 opposite the strap fastener 35 and is removably fastened to the comforter 10. The adjustment mechanism 34 is positioned on each of the plurality of elastic straps 32 between the snap fastener 33 and the strap fastener 35. The adjustment mechanism 34 may include, but is not limited to, a buckle and belt type of mechanism to provide easy and convenient adjustment of the length of each of the plurality of elastic straps 32 to the user, thus enabling the user to achieve the maximum comfort when tucked in the bed during sleeping. Further, the comforter 10 comprises the plurality of anchor fasteners 22, which is distributed on the bottom 13, the first side 14, and the second side 15 of the comforter 10. The snap fasteners 33 of each of the plurality of elastic straps 32 of the anchor 30 is fastened to each of the plurality of anchor fasteners 22 of the comforter 10, as can be seen in FIG. 1. Additionally, the plurality of anchor fasteners 22 is distributed on the back 17 the comforter 10, thus the plurality of elastic straps 32 and the anchor 30 are completed concealed by the comforter 10, as can be seen in FIG. 5. Further, the flap 11 of the comforter 10 can be raised up to be at any angle between zero and 90 degrees with respect to the front 16 of the comforter 10 to the user's desired appearance.
[0017] As can be seen in FIG. 6, the comforter 10 of the bedding system of the present invention further comprises a skirt 25. The skirt 25 is attached to the front 16 of the comforter 10 at the edges of the first side 14, the second side 15, and the bottom 13, wherein the skirt 25 flares out to provide a traditional high bed appearance of the bedding system of the present invention whenever the user desires. The skirt 25 can be of any suitable shape and size. Further, the skirt 25 can be permanently or removably attached to the comforter through the use of any suitable fastening means including, but not limited to, sewing, being made to be an integral part of the comforter 10, hook and loop fastener, button fastener, snap fastener, magnet, etc.
