Like numbers in the drawings indicate like components throughout the views. As used in the description herein and throughout the claims that follow, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise, the meaning of “a”, “an”, and “the” includes plural reference, and the meaning of “in” includes “in” and “on”. Titles or subtitles can be used herein for the convenience of a reader, which shall have no influence on the scope of the present disclosure.
(14) The terms used herein generally have their ordinary meanings in the art. In the case of conflict, the present document, including any definitions given herein, will prevail. The same thing can be expressed in more than one way. Alternative language and synonyms can be used for any term(s) discussed herein, and no special significance is to be placed upon whether a term is elaborated or discussed herein. A recital of one or more synonyms does not exclude the use of other synonyms. The use of examples anywhere in this specification including examples of any terms is illustrative only, and in no way limits the scope and meaning of the present disclosure or of any exemplified term. Likewise, the present disclosure is not limited to various embodiments given herein. Numbering terms such as “first”, “second” or “third” can be used to describe various components, signals or the like, which are for distinguishing one component/signal from another one only, and are not intended to, nor should be construed to impose any substantive limitations on the components, signals or the like.
(15) Referring to
(16) The sleeve body 11 has a first open end 111 and a second open end 112 corresponding to the first open end. The sleeve body 11 defines an accommodating space 113 that is arranged between the first open end 111 and the second open end 112 for receiving a brush head 21 of a brush 2. It should be noted that the sleeve body 11 has an outer surface 114 provided with a first washing texture T1, as shown in
(17) Preferably, the outer surface 114 of the sleeve body 11 can have a second surface region 1142. The second surface region 1142 can be opposite to the first surface region 1141 and provided with a second washing texture T2. Accordingly, the brush head 21 can move on the second surface region 1142 along an arrangement direction of the second washing texture T2 to clean brush hairs on outer side and root portions of the brush head 21. It should be noted that, when the brush head 21 moves along the arrangement direction of the second washing texture T2, the second washing texture T2 can press the brush head 21 to remove water out of the brush hairs. That is to say, the second washing texture T2 also has a water removing function.
(18) In the present embodiment, the first washing texture T1 can include a plurality of first washing texture units T11 uniformly distributed on the first surface region 1141, and each of the first washing texture units T11 includes a plurality of tiny protrusions T111 spaced apart from each other, as shown in
(19) In addition, the second washing texture T2 can include a plurality of convex ribs extending along a width direction of the sleeve body 11 and spaced apart from each other for cleaning the brush hairs on outer side and root portions of the brush head 21. The convex ribs can include a plurality of first convex ribs T21 and a plurality of second convex ribs T22 alternately arranged with the first convex ribs T21, and the first convex ribs T21 have a bigger size (i.e., height and width) than the second convex ribs T22. However, the above described second washing texture T2 on the outer surface 114 of the sleeve body 11 is merely an example and is not meant to limit the present disclosure.
(20) In consideration of usability, the sleeve body 11 has a tapered shape along a direction from the second open end 112 to the first open end 111. The sleeve body 11 increases in thickness along the direction from the second open end 112 to the first open end 111.
(21) The elastic tightening portion 12 is formed at the first open end 111 of the sleeve body 11 for positioning the brush 2. More specifically, the elastic tightening portion 12 can retain the brush head 21 of the brush 2 in the sleeve body 11. When the brush head 21 is received in the accommodating space 113, it can be restricted by the elastic tightening portion 12 from falling out through the first open end 111. In the present embodiment, the elastic tightening portion 12 can be integrally formed at the first open end 111, but is not limited thereto.

(26) It should be noted that, the brush assembly Z has multiple use states. One of the use states (e.g., cleaning state) of the brush assembly Z, as shown in
(27) One of the advantages of the present disclosure is that the multifunctional brush protector of the present disclosure, in which the sleeve body has a first open end and a second open end and an outer surface thereof is provided with a first washing texture, and the elastic tightening portion and the supporting portion are respectively formed at the first open end and the second open end and the supporting portion includes a plurality of retaining pieces that are disposed at an inner periphery of the second open end and extend along a radial direction, can increase the flexibility of use of the brush, prevent the brush head 21 from coming in contact with dust, dirt and other debris, and, before use, prevent the brush hairs of the brush head 21 from being deformed and disorganized.
(28) The foregoing description of the exemplary embodiments of the disclosure has been presented only for the purposes of illustration and description and is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the disclosure to the precise forms disclosed. Many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching.
(29) The embodiments were chosen and described in order to explain the principles of the disclosure and their practical application so as to enable others skilled in the art to utilize the disclosure and various embodiments and with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated. Alternative embodiments will become apparent to those skilled in the art to which the present disclosure pertains without departing from its spirit and scope.
