18. The film dispenser and extended core of claim 14 wherein a difference between coefficient of friction of said film dispenser and said extended core allows said extended core to turn and release film when squeezing force is reduced and film dispenser no longer touches said extended core.
19. The film dispenser and extended core of claim 14 wherein said extended core has a groove that a ridge from said film dispenser fits within and locks said film dispenser onto said extended core.
20. The film dispenser and extended core of claim 14 wherein said film dispenser is reusable.

26. The film dispenser and extended core of claim 23 wherein said inner mold further comprises a ridge which fits into a groove formed in said extended core when said extended core is placed within said film dispenser.
27. The film dispenser and extended core of claim 23 wherein when said outer mold is squeezed it touches said extended core through said openings of said inner mold, causing friction which slows down or stops said extended core from spinning and dispensing film.
28. A combination film dispensers and extended core comprising: two film dispensers both comprised of paper or cardboard; a film wound around center of said extended core; said extended core protruding from both ends of said extended core having said film; a film dispenser inserted over each end of said extended core; when squeezed each of said film dispensers touches said extended core causing friction, which when increasing amount of force applied to said extended core, slows down and stops said extended core from spinning and dispensing film.
29. The combination film dispensers and extended core of claim 28 wherein said film is dispensed using two hands.
30. The combination film dispensers and extended core of claim 28 wherein each of said film dispensers consist of paper or cardboard.
31. A film dispenser comprising: said film dispenser comprised of paper or cardboard; said film dispenser inserted into a core of a stretch wrap film; said film dispenser used as a braking mechanism, so when squeezed, outer part of said film dispenser touches said core of said stretch wrap film, causing friction and functioning as a braking mechanism to stop film from being dispensed.
32. The film dispenser of claim 31 wherein said film dispenser and said core of said stretch wrap film have different coefficients of friction.
33. The film dispenser of claim 31 wherein said film dispenser comprises a cylinder with side walls and a closed or open bottom and wherein top of said film dispenser has a plug or extension that fits within said core of stretch wrap film in a way that said film dispenser is held within said core but can be removed with some degree of force.
34. The film dispenser of claim 31 wherein said film dispenser is used in coreless applications of stretch wrap film.

[0129] In an embodiment, the film dispenser is made of a material with a high coefficient of friction compared to the extended core of the film wrap. When squeezed the film dispenser touches the extended core. This causes friction which, when increasing the amount of force applied to the extended core, slows down and stops the extended core from spinning and dispensing film. The low coefficient of friction between the film dispenser and the extended core allows the extended core to turn and release the film when the squeezing force is reduced and the outer mold no longer touches the core.
