DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0025] A litter box constructed in accord with an embodiment of the invention with and without accessories is illustrated in the drawings.

[0026] FIG. 1 is a perspective blowout view of an embodiment of the integrated litter box and accessories. The litter section 21 and tool section 22 are part of the integrated litter box assembly 20. A flexible ring 10 fits around the perimeter of the base of the integrated litter 21 and tool 22 sections between the interior and exterior walls. The flexible ring 10, made of rubber, silicone, or similar flexible material, helps secure the unit to the floor and provides a grip for changing or cleaning the litter.

[0027] The tool section 22 can serve as a unitary storage space or can be divided into two or more sections 31 and 32 to store tools or accessories by means of a divider or holder 30 that slots into the tool section 22. The holder 30 may be removeable for easy cleaning and upkeep.

[0028] Accessories or tools such as a litter scoop 40 and integrated dust pan 50 and brush 60 can be stored in the tool section 22 or in a holder 30 seated in the tool section.

[0029] The integrated assembly allows for ease of use and cleaning, convenient litter and feces disposal, and superior functionality that meets the needs of contemporary pet owners.

[0030] FIGS. 2-5 illustrate other views of the litter box.

[0031] FIG. 2 is a top down view showing tools 40 and 50 seated in the tools section 22.

[0032] FIG. 3 illustrates a perspective view of the litter box 20 and accessories 40 and 50 where the internal contours 23 of the litter section are rounded to conform to the contours of a litter scoop 40 for convenient scooping of feces deposited in the cat litter.

[0033] FIGS. 4 and 5 illustrate side and front views of the integrated letter box and depict angled external walls of the unit.

[0034] The double-wall construction is depicted in the cross section view of FIG. 6, where internal 72 and external walls 71 of the litter and tool sections are angled and join at a flat section 73 at the top of unit. Double-walled construction imparts stability and rigidity to the unit and contributes to its aesthetics and provides a gap for attachment of the flexible ring.

[0035] The angular double-wall construction is also present in the wall separating the litter and tool sections 74. This again imparts stability and rigidity to the unit, provides a gap for the flexible ring, and creates a handhold for convenient handling of the unit when replacing litter and cleaning. It is possible to mold the integrated assembly with double walls from a single mold, which reduces production cost and increases efficiency.

[0036] FIG. 7 depicts an embodiment where litter box accessories seated in the integrated unit.

[0037] FIG. 8 illustrates an embodiment of the integrated litter box absent any tools or accessories.

[0038] FIG. 9 depicts the underside of the unit showing the double-walled construction and the cavity 80 between the tool and litter sections that imparts rigidity and can be used as a convenient handle.

[0039] Modifications and substitution by one of ordinary skill in the art are considered to be within the scope of the present invention, which is not limited except by the following claims.
