TABLE SUPPORT MECHANISM WITH HANGER DEVICE

Abstract

A table support mechanism includes a table plate supported on legs and having a number of cavities formed in the table plate, and one or more hanger devices each having a rod member and each having one end portion engaged with either of the cavities of the table plate for allowing the rod members of the hanger devices to be supported on the table plate, the rod members of the hanger devices each include another end portion spaced from the table plate for engaging with and for supporting an object on the table plate with the rod members of the hanger devices, and a carrier disposed on the rod member. A rest is engaged with two of the rod members for engaging with another object.

Claims

1. A table support mechanism comprising: a table plate, said table plate including a plurality of cavities formed in said table plate, and a first hanger device including a rod member having a first end portion engaged with either of said cavities of said table plate for allowing said rod member of said first hanger device to be supported on said table plate, said rod member of said first hanger device including a second end portion spaced from said table plate for engaging with and for supporting an object on said table plate with said rod member of said first hanger device.

2. The table support mechanism as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first hanger device includes a carrier provided on said second end portion of said rod member of said first hanger device for engaging with and for supporting said object on said table plate.

The table support mechanism as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a second hanger device including a rod member having a first end portion engaged with either of said cavities of said table plate for allowing said rod member of said second hanger device to be supported on said table plate, said rod member of said second hanger device including a second end portion spaced from said table plate.

4. The table support mechanism as claimed in claim 3 further comprising a rest engaged with said second end portions of said rod members of said first and said second hanger devices for engaging with another object.

5. The table support mechanism as claimed in claim 4, wherein said first and said second hanger devices each include a carrier provided on said second end portion of said rod member for engaging with said rest.

6. The table support mechanism as claimed in claim 5, wherein said carriers each include a V-shaped structure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0015] Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIGS. 1-3, a desk or table support mechanism in accordance with the present invention comprises a table plate or table top 10 supported on one or more legs 11, and the table plate 10 includes one or more orifices or apertures or cavities 12 formed in the upper surface or upper portion of the table plate 10, such as formed in the outer peripheral portion of the upper portion of the table plate 10, best shown in FIGS. 2-5.

[0016] The table plate 10 may be provided for accommodating or engaging with or supporting various objects, such as the displayers 8, the screens, the mobile devices, the tablets, the laptops, the notebooks, the ear phones, the keyboards, or the like on the table plate 10 selectively.

[0017] The table support mechanism further includes one or more (such as two or first and second) hanger devices 3 each having a hanger body or rod member 30, and each having a lower or bottom portion or one or first end portion 31 for engaging with or for into either of the cavities 12 of the table plate 10 and for allowing the rod member 30 of the hanger device 3 to be erectly disposed and supported on the table plate 10, the rod members 30 of the hanger devices 3 each further include an upper portion or second end portion 32 spaced and separated from the table plate 10, and a hook member or carrier 33 formed or provided on the upper or second end portion 32 of each of the rod members 30 for engaging with or for supporting various objects, such as the ear phones 80 (FIG. 4), the keyboards 88 (FIG. 1), or the like on the table plate 10 selectively.

[0018] The table support mechanism may further include a stay or rest 34 disposed or engaged or supported on the upper or second end portions 32 of the rod members 30, or attached or mounted or secured to the upper or second end portions 32 of the rod members 30 for engaging with the objects, such as the keyboard 88 (FIG. 1) or the like and for solidly and stably anchoring or retaining or supporting the objects 80, 88 on the rod members 30 of the hanger devices 3. It is preferable, but not necessary that the carrier 33 of the rod member 30 includes a U or V-shaped structure or configuration.

[0019] In operation, as shown in FIG. 3, one or more rod members 30 of the hanger devices 3 may be engaged with the cavities 12 of the table plate 10 for allowing the rod member 30 of the hanger device 3 to be erectly disposed and supported on the table plate 10, and as shown in FIG. 4, the objects, such as the ear phones 80 may be engaged with the carriers 33 or the upper or second end portions 32 of the rod members 30 for allowing the objects 80 to be supported on the table plate 10 with the rod members 30 of the hanger devices 3. As shown in FIG. 1, the other objects 88, such as the displayers, the screens, the mobile devices, the tablets, the laptops, the notebooks, the ear phones, the keyboards 88, or the like may be engaged with the carriers 33 and/or the rest 34 for allowing the other objects 88, such as the keyboards 88 to be supported on the table plate 10 with the rod members 30 of the hanger devices 3 and/or the rest 34, for preventing the objects 80, 88 from effecting the other objects 8 that are supported on the table plate 10.

[0020] Accordingly, the table support mechanism or table support mechanism in accordance with the present invention includes one or more hanger devices disposed or engageable on the table plate of the table for accommodating or supporting the displayers, the screens, the mobile devices, the tablets, the laptops, the notebooks, the ear phones, the keyboards, or the like on the table selectively.
