A device for use in processing fatty tissue, characterised in that it comprises in a closed circuit a first tissue-collecting unit (1), connected to a second tissue-collecting unit (2), where the first tissue-collecting unit (1) has an opening (3) on its upper part (8) and an opening (4) at its base, and where the second tissue-collecting unit (2) has an opening (6) at its base.

2. The device according to the preceding claim, where the first tissue-collecting unit (1) is connected to a second tissue-collecting unit (2) through a filter (7).

3. The device according to claim 1, where the first tissue-collecting unit (1) is connected to a second tissue-collecting unit (2) through a filter (7) that has a pore size of between 100 and 200 microns.

4. The device according to claim 1, where the second tissue-collecting unit (2) has an opening (5) at its upper part.

5. The device according to claim 4, further comprising means for creating a vacuum connected to the opening (5).

6. The device according to claim 1, further comprising a cannula connected to the opening (3).

7. The device according to claim 6, further comprising a three-way valve connected to the cannula.

8. A method of processing fatty tissue comprising using the device of claim 1.

9. The method of claim 8, where the processing of fatty tissue is for use in biolipoplasty, obtaining the stromal-vascular fraction, isolating stem cells, or isolating fractions of fine fatty tissue for treating fine wrinkles, rhinomodelling or manufacturing autologous cosmetics.

10. A method for processing of fatty tissue with the device of claim 1 comprising the following steps: (a) transferring the fatty tissue to the first tissue-collecting unit (1), (b) applying vacuum in the opening (5) to create a negative pressure inside the second tissue-collecting unit (2); (c) removing the liquid fraction in the second tissue-collecting unit (2) through the opening (6); and (d) collecting the fine fatty tissue from the second tissue-collecting unit (2) through the opening (6).

11. The method of claim 10, further comprising washing the fine fatty tissue in the second tissue-collecting unit (2) before step (d).

12. A method for treating fine wrinkles comprising applying the fine fatty tissue prepared according to claim 10 to wrinkled skin having fine wrinkles, thereby treating fine wrinkles in a subject.

13. A method for rhino-modelling comprising injecting the fine fatty tissue prepared according to claim 10 in combination with plasma gel into the nose tissue of a subject.

14. A method for manufacturing autologous cosmetics comprising including the fine fatty tissue prepared according to claim 10 into an autologous cosmetic product, wherein the fine fatty tissue is obtained from the subject to which the cosmetic product is applied.

Description

DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0016] FIG. 1. Device of the present invention.

EXAMPLES

[0017] The invention will be better understood with reference to the following examples, although persons skilled in the art will easily appreciate that the specific examples described merely illustrate the invention.

Example 1

[0018] Connecting an extension of the usual infusion systems at one of its ends to the opening (3) and at its other end to a 3-way valve, and the latter in turn to a 20 or 50 cm.sup.3 syringe, the fatty tissue is suctioned and with the valve the content is transferred from the suction syringe to the first tissue-collecting unit (1). This is repeated as many times as needed to obtain the desired volume of tissue.

[0019] On one hand, if the volume of suctioned tissue is decanted under gravity onto the filter (7), at the first tissue-collecting unit (1) a complete fatty tissue is obtained with globules of different sizes, perfectly usable for lipotransfer, biolipoplasty, obtaining the stromal vascular fraction, isolation of stem cells, or isolation of other fractions of the fatty tissue.

[0020] It is also possible to obtain fatty tissue globules of different sizes with various aims if after suctioning with a syringe a vacuum is applied in the opening (5) to create a negative pressure inside the second tissue-collecting unit (2), which makes the finer fatty tissue globules pass through the filter.

[0021] After the fine fatty tissue supernatant is observed in the second tissue-collecting unit (2), the liquid fraction composed of a mixture of anaesthetic, blood, etc. is removed through the opening (6), as the fatty tissue floats on the liquid, which will exit first. In this way, after extracting the liquid fraction, it is possible to extract through the same opening (6) the fine fatty tissue and collect it directly in 1 or 3 cm.sup.3 syringes for direct use in the treatment of finer wrinkles, rhinomodelling in combination with plasma gel, manufacture of autologous cosmetics, etc.

[0022] On another hand, the device of the present invention can be used by suctioning or applying a vacuum at the opening (5) such that the thick fatty tissue is retained in the first tissue-collecting unit (1) and the fine fatty tissue remains in the second tissue-collecting unit (2).

[0023] Moreover, the device of the present invention allows washing the tissue, for example with serum, when it is inserted through the opening (3).

[0024] The fatty tissue of the first tissue-collecting unit (1) can be collected, for example, with a syringe through the opening (4), to be used in grafts, for example, or collected in a closed circuit in Falcon-type tubes connected to said opening for subsequent processing. For example, the fat obtained in this manner can be processed for obtaining stem cells by washing, centrifuging, etc.
