    Abstract

    A personal portable cooling device that produces cold air using a fan and cooling chip. The device is powered by a battery, solar panel or a combination of battery and solar panel. The cold air is directed towards the user's head perimeter through a circular pipe with vent holes around the perimeter.

    Claims

    1. A personal portable cooling device, comprising: Wearable cap; Electric power source of battery, solar panel or a combination of both battery and solar panel; A fan to generate air flow; A cooling chip; Control devices to switch the power on and off; Supporting structure to direct the cold air towards the user.

    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

    [0009] FIG. 1 is a top view of the cap;

    [0010] FIG. 2 is a bottom view of the cap;

    [0011] FIG. 3 is a side view of the fan and cooling chip assembly.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

    [0012] Referring to the drawings, FIG. 1 shows the cap viewed from the top. The fan and cooling chip assembly is connected to the battery. The cap surface can be optionally made of solar panel to provide additional power.

    [0013] FIG. 2 shows the cap viewed from the bottom. The cold air outlet from the fan and cooling assembly is connected to a circular pipe around the head perimeter of the cap. There are vent holes throughout the pipe to direct cold air to the user's face and other parts along the head perimeter.

    [0014] FIG. 3 shows the fan and cooling chip assembly. The air from the fan is split into two streams. The top stream blows over the hot side of the thermoelectric chip and dissipates the heat into open space. The bottom stream blows over the cold side of the chip and directs the cold air into the circular pipe with vent holes.

    [0015] While the forms of apparatus disclosed herein constitute preferred embodiments of the present invention, those knowledgeable in the art understand that the invention is not limited to these precise forms of apparatus, and that changes may be made therein without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
