Abstract
A cooking appliance includes a housing having a cooking chamber, and a door configured to close the cooking chamber. The door is arranged on the housing in a pivotable manner and capable of being lowered into a storage space in the housing. A drive unit automatically implements a movement of the door along a movement path. The drive unit includes a motor and a cable pull device, which is coupled to the motor and the door such that the movement of the door is implemented as a function of a motorized actuation of the cable pull device.

14. A cooking appliance, comprising: a housing having a cooking chamber; a door configured to close the cooking chamber, said door being arranged on the housing in a pivotable manner and capable of being lowered into a storage space in the housing; and a drive unit configured to automatically implement a movement of the door along a movement path, said drive unit including a motor and a cable pull device, said cable pull device being coupled to the motor and the door such that the movement of the door is implemented as a function of a motorized actuation of the cable pull device.
15. The cooking appliance of claim 14, wherein the movement path of the door represents only a partial movement path of a complete movement path between a closed position of the door and a fully opened position of the door.
16. The cooking appliance of claim 15, wherein the partial movement path starts from an angular position of the door with an angle between 15° and 25° in relation to the closed position of the door.
17. The cooking appliance of claim 15, wherein a movement path of the door, which is not implemented by the drive unit, extends between the closed position of the door and a start of the partial movement path.
18. The cooking appliance of claim 17, wherein the door includes a hinge having a spring element, which is arranged in such a manner that the movement path of the door between the partial movement path and the closed position of the door is implemented by a spring force of the spring element.
19. The cooking appliance of claim 17, further comprising a damping module configured to damp the movement of the door along the movement path, which is not implemented by the drive unit.
20. The cooking appliance of claim 19, wherein the door includes a hinge, said damping module being coupled to the hinge of the door.
21. The cooking appliance of claim 20, wherein the damping module is directly flanged to the hinge.
22. The cooking appliance of claim 14, further comprising a carriage coupled to the door, said cable pull device being coupled to the carriage.
23. The cooking appliance of claim 22, wherein the carriage includes a brake unit, which is connected to the door to damp a coupling of the door to the carriage, when the door is in a coupling position.
24. The cooking appliance of claim 23, wherein the brake unit is a hydraulic brake unit.
25. The cooking appliance of claim 22, further comprising a guide facility configured to guide the carriage.
26. The cooking appliance of claim 25, wherein the guide facility is arranged in at least one of two ways, a first way in which the guide facility is arranged on a base of the storage space, a second way in which the guide facility is arranged such as to run in a straight line in a depthwise direction of the cooking appliance.
27. The cooking appliance of claim 14, wherein the door includes a hinge, which is guided in a guide channel during movement of the door into the storage space or out of the storage space.
