Symmetrical utility bag system capable of multiple shapes with customizable body, adjustable handle, and accessories

Abstract

A symmetrical utility bag system is capable of multiple shapes and includes a body, eyelet/grommet holes, cord, handles, closures and detachable fasteners. Body is a flat, circular piece of fabric with a reinforced center. Body can be insulated, waterproof and reversible, lined with thermal insulating material and interfacing. Body can have pockets and loops, such as elastic, affixed to it to hold objects in place. Loops may be elastic. Eyelet/grommet holes are multiple and spread out at intervals. Cord is material that can be weaved through the eyelet/grommet holes in different positions and patterns that alter the shape of the bag. Handle can be secured to the body with closures. Closures can be rings or detachable fasteners. Fasteners, such as magnets, can secure contents of the bag. Accessories may also be detachably secured to elastic, holes, rings, fasteners or magnets. Bag is used to contain and transport items.

Claims

1. A symmetrical utility bag system capable of multiple shapes with customizable body, adjustable handle, and accessories, comprising: a flat, circular body of fabric with a defined center and a plurality of eyelet/grommet holes uniformly placed around the outer edge; the defined center serves as the bottom of the bag; the area outside the defined center serves as the sidewall of the bag; a removable cord threaded through a plurality of eyelet/grommet holes , forming customizable patterns that change the shape of the bag when the cord is drawn tight; and an adjustable handle detachably secured to eyelet/grommet holes located on the sidewall of the bag by removable fasteners.

The symmetrical utility bag system of claim 1, further comprising closures, such as magnets, adhesive material, snaps, hooks, rings, buckles or other detachable fasteners, used to fasten the bag and secure the bag closed wherein closures are located on the cord or along the outer edge and top of the sidewall.

3. The symmetrical utility bag system of claim 1, further comprising pockets affixed to the sidewall, wherein items are secured within the symmetrical utility bag and loops are affixed along the sidewall, securing items within the bag.

4. The symmetrical utility bag system of claim 1, further comprising water resistant or waterproof fabric that make up the flat, circular body of fabric.

5. The symmetrical utility bag system of claim 1, further comprising thermal insulating material and interfacing line the inside of the flat, circular body of fabric.

6. The symmetrical utility bag system of claim 1, further comprising an accessory detachably affixed to elastic, holes, rings, fasteners or magnets.

7. The symmetrical utility bag system of claim 6, wherein the accessory is selected from a group consisting of toys, nametag holders, key chains, drink containers, food containers, sanitizer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0007] Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a configurable symmetrical utility bag system that can be personalized by the user. FIG. 1 shows a customizable symmetrical utility bag system 100 in some embodiment of the present disclosure. Symmetrical utility bag system 100 is made of flat, circular material 101 and includes the round center 102 of the symmetrical utility bag system which may be insulated, a plurality of eyelet/grommet holes 103 for cord 201 threading, secondary eyelet/grommet holes 104 for fastening rings 108 to attaching a handle(s) 110, outer edge of the symmetrical utility bag 105, seam 106 to designate center of symmetrical utility bag 102 from sidewall of the bag 107 which may be insulated and elastic straps 110 with loops for securing symmetrical utility bag system 100 contents, and pocket 111 for securing symmetrical utility bag 100 contents.

[0008] Referring to FIG. 2 shows symmetrical utility bag system 100 made of flat, circular material 101 includes a cord 201 that can be threaded through a plurality of eyelet/grommet holes 103 in a variety of patterns to customize and alter the shape of the symmetrical utility bag system 100, and closures 203 to cinch the bag shut. [0009] Referring to FIG. 3, shows of symmetrical utility bag system 100 and includes the inside of the center 102 of the symmetrical utility bag which is filled with a sturdy, flat, circular material 301 and/or insulation 302 to serve as the bottom of the symmetrical utility bag system 100 and includes the inside of the sidewall 106 which may be filled with a sturdy interfacing 303 and/or insulation 302. A seam 304 separates the bottom, center of the bag 102 and its inner filling of a sturdy, flat, circular material 301 and/or insulation 302 from the sidewall 106 and its inner filling of a sturdy interfacing 303 and/or insulation 302.

[0010] Referring to FIG. 4, shows the symmetrical utility bag system 100 and includes cord 201 drawn tight through eyelet/grommet holes 103 to enclose contents of the bag. Sidewall 107 is positioned vertically, upright and center 107 is positioned as the bottom of the symmetrical utility bag system 100. As cord 201 is drawn through eyelet/grommet holes 103, cord 201 is secured with closures 203. Rings 108 attach handle 109 for holding and carrying the symmetrical utility bag system 100.
