Abstract
An air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus for clearing a clogged coil drain line includes an inlet connection configured to attach to an air conditioner coil drain line. A ball valve is coupled to the inlet connection and has a handle coupled to a ball to block and alternatively unblock flow through the inlet connection. A first extension tube is coupled to the inlet connection. A T-fitting has a second inlet end coupled to the first extension tube, a second outlet end, and a perpendicular third inlet end extending between the second inlet end and the second outlet end. The second outlet end is configured to attach to a drain line. A second extension tube is coupled within the third inlet end of the T-fitting. A hose connection is coupled to the second extension and has a threaded hose end configured to selectively engage a water supply line.

Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)
[0011] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
[0018] As best illustrated in
[0019] A first extension tube 35 is coupled within the first outlet end 18 of the inlet connection. A T-fitting 36 has a second inlet end 37 coupled to the first extension tube 35, a second outlet end 38, and a perpendicular third inlet end 40 extending between the second inlet end 36 and the second outlet end 38. The second outlet end 38 is configured to attach to a drain line extension 42. A second extension tube 44 is coupled to the T-fitting 26 within the third inlet end 36. A hose connection 46 is coupled to the second extension tube 44. The hose connection 46 has a receiving sleeve 48 coupled around the second extension tube 44, a faceted grip portion 50 coupled to the receiving sleeve 48, and a threaded hose end 52 extending from the grip portion 50. The threaded hose end 52 is configured to selectively engage a water supply line 54.
[0020] In use, the handle 24 of the ball valve is rotated to block the inlet connection 12 and the water supply line 54 is turned on to clear out a clog in the drain line extension 42. The ball valve 20 prevents the water from entering the air conditioner coil drain line 15 and forces the water through the drain line extension 42 to clear the clog.
[0021] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0022] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word comprising is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded.
[0023] A reference to an element by the indefinite article a does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
